I agree in practice. It the loss of the principle that is a concern.I get what ya saying but on a 1 year deal we really haven't got nowt to lose..
Class.Off topic(Joel Lynch) but I saw probably the best Free tribute band in South Shields last night Freeway at the Rose and Crown, vocalist Terry Slesser who played in Back Street Crawler with Kossoff.
No not at all - it was a great guitar and he did teach me on it - playing the solo from Alright Now etc. Long time ago though. Arthur lived in Whitburn and I used to get lessons on a saturday morning.Really? If so, that's really something. Lord, Lord above! I hope you're not trying to trick me....
Brilliant. Do you still pluck? No not at all - it was a great guitar and he did teach me on it - playing the solo from Alright Now etc. Long time ago though. Arthur lived in Whitburn and I used to get lessons on a saturday morning.
Yes I do. Love the guitar.Brilliant. Do you still pluck?
Wastes a letter classWhy couldn't his parents just call him Joe? Joel Lynch is just awkward to say and wastes a letter really.
Well, I'd like to hear you some time. You've learned at the feet of a master.Yes I do. Love the guitar.
That’s just daftHere is a mental idea... why don’t we all watch him then form an idea
I promulgated a similar hypothesis some time since, as a consequence of which I was subjected first to the ducking stool, then to peine forte et dure & finally to the bronze bull, before I was blinded & cast beyond the walls of the citadel, from where I now spin my meagre yarn of lament....Here is a mental idea... why don’t we all watch him then form an idea
See i wouldnt have washed the plectrum ,the wife reckons i dont wash my plectrum enough.Brilliant. Do you still pluck?
You filthy beast, you!See i wouldnt have washed the plectrum ,the wife reckons i dont wash my plectrum enough.
Hope not, looks good cover otherwise. My only he concern is that he might be part of the Jack Ross 3 at the back masterplan.
I would class Dobson and O'nien as that. How old is Willis? That Sammut lad supposedly look ok in preseason. He may be decent cover but it’d be reassuring if we started signing some players under 25 that could not only potentially get in our first XI now but also potentially be able to step up a level.

It's the risk you take signing young players who haven't played above league one level I suppose. We should have enough for promotion imo so it will be interesting to see if these new owners bring anyone in on the scouting side. My only worry if Donald is staying will be that he will continue to trust Coton and Hill. However if they have a different budget that might help. As for going up I'd expect us to have a high turnover of players regardless as most of the squad are out of contract in the summer.Yep. Dobson and O’Nien would be close to that category. Though neither will be first choice if we have a full selection of available and I’m doubtful O’Nien would be decent in the leagues above. Can’t comment on Dobson really yet. Looks like he has decent passing ability and range which gives him a chance. Most other signings have been horses for courses IMO rather than anything linked to the long term. What that means is likely high player turnover if we go up. That’s caused us bother for a long time now
