Carries his bat for 222 out of Yorkshire's 350/9 declared. A definite test player of the future.

Shame that Harmison, opening the bowling throws down 3 wides in his first four balls.

No reason to be bitter about Harmison imo. His time is done and for a good part of his career he served Durham well.

Harmison

He's done nowt for a good while now, only interested in playing golf. Massive drain on wages, hope he never plays for Durham again

Where when and why did it all go wrong for Harmison. Something i really don't understand.
Once he got his contract and decided that he didnt want to earn it. Vaughan and flintoff (his 2 big mates) packed in about the time he got his contract in 2009.

If he had any decency he would retire in September but the fact that he has one year left on his contract means that we'll have to suffer him for another year.

The whole situation since 2009 has been handled very badly by durham ccc. Wouldnt surprised too see them offer him another contract. :-?

His Uncle is a regular on the Skunkers footie forum. He does look a great prospect.

If you put all his supposed attitude problems to one side, it is fairly irregular to see a bowler capable of pinging it down at 90mph for 15 years. He's 34, lost his pace (which was his only real asset) and is probably ready for retirement, however as DCCC gave him a nice bumper contract in 2009, he, like many others, will gladly see that out.
