That’s because you’re fickle
Not with Hugill. But would with fat stew for selling us down the river just so he didn’t have to dip into his pocket. To then bring that player back and develop him for someone else would leave a bitter taste in my mouth

Ahh okay. I was going to say, not Hugill’s fault. 👍🏼
Aye definitely not. Good for him doing so well it’s really good to see.

I was in the black cats bar when we played Coventry (d 1-1) and Michael Bridges was guest speaker. He said he’d just came from the AOL where he’d been watching a young lad called Hugill and what a fantastic player he was. Reminded him of himself and one of the best natural finishes he’d seen. For Donald to then sell him at the end of that season is nothing short of disgusting for me. I’d string the bloke up outside the SOL.

it’s such a shame we have lost a talent like this mate.

£300,000 sale is gonna come back to haunt us.
The fact the 2 frauds are still leeching makes it even worse.
I’d love to see them both end up ruined.
It's quite telling that when Steve Davison gave his first interview with the media Hugill was the only player to get a mention. Think he referred to it as a mistake that's not to be repeated and that we had the lad on the wrong type of contract or something. What a surprise eh.

OGS scouted him personally and has since compared the way he plays and finishes to a young Harry Kane. At one point last season he said I'm finding it increasingly difficult to ignore the lad.

Do you think if we gave them five used buttons, rather than the three we accepted for him, they will give him back?

Lets be honest as a league 1 club we we’re going to lose the best young talent at some point, Knesset we got promoted, but to lose them for nothing and not to try to give them a chance was just criminal.
