There's more than that. Luca Stephenson signed a new contract at Liverpool, Asoro is at Genoa, Jacob Young went to Hoffenheim, Woud to Willem II, Stryjek could still have been an option for us, Ethan Robson is doing great at Blackpool, Williams Kokolo and Cole Kiernan went to Boro, Morten Spencer to Leeds. You forgot Embleton too.

It's disgrace.
That good they've loaned him out to MK Dons

Edit:- just seen your post was from a canny while a go.

Thought we signed him up around the time of the pizza cup?
‘Okoronkwo has been handed a scholarship deal with Sunderland which will come into force in the summer’

unless things have changed I think a scholarship does you from 16-18 so he should be under contract and if a prem team comes in then it’s compensation for sure. Not sure how much

Will be compo incoming, its not dine but he he fancies it I'm told

Illustrates the problem we've got. Our first team squad is currently 18 players and we're all losing our minds about a lack of transfers. However, the only way to have a chance of keeping the likes of Okoronkwo is to make the pathway to the first team clear and accelerate it. To do so we need a smaller squad. I guess we need to hope that the Academy can produce this sort of quality every year then.

As I’ve been saying less players signed but quality players to help the youngers along - and sign youngers. I’d be getting about 5 and some up and coming lads.

We need to get out of this shithole league first. Your plan is based on first team football in this tinpot league being attractive enough to stave off United's age group teams. I put it to you that it wouldn't be.

Championship, different gravy.

Roker report mentioned Sohna being the standout I think in their analysis. Someone else on here mentioned a striker from Gillingham still to sign as well.
Sohna played against Liverpool’s first team which included: Mane, Salah, Hendo - albeit because Villa’s entire first team couldn’t make it

I dunno if it would definitely stave it off - but it would most certainly get us more in compo. We’re in a unique position in that we’ve got a pl academy and we’ve been at league one level for four years. We really should have tried the experiment tbh. We could have made ourselves a Crewe on steroids if we’d wanted. Probably still could if we weren’t all terrified of a fifth season at this level.

Ah the "crewe on steroids model".

Pretty sure a bunch of crazy italians introduced that at Leeds which coincided with the start of their rise.
