Midfield
I am more than happy we've got little Enzo ready to set that midfield alight next season, Jobe has definitely been promised game time and we haven't been able to get Enzo in their enough.

If he has decided he would be better in Germany, the quicker it’s all decided is far better for us.Wish him all the best. Can't lie, don't really like him looking round frankfurt less than 48 hours after our win. But I suspect he's not controlling this.
That’s where sell on clauses come in. We get a good chunk now and then a percentage of any mega move if it does happen.Anything below £30m will be disappointing to be fair given his likely increase in value
Enzo and Neil are too lightweight for the midfield in the prem.I am more than happy we've got little Enzo ready to set that midfield alight next season, Jobe has definitely been promised game time and we haven't been able to get Enzo in there enough.
This entirely. It all seems quite sterile from the Bellingham’s, a career gameplay be Stuck to. But who is to say they’re not wrong. Hey ho, if he goes then both parties will share mutual benefits, we’ve been good for each other. Maybe both brothers are more suited to continental and international football, which is not played at the furious pace of the PL and they know this themselves. Who knows. But good luck to the lad, can’t say anything negative as he has conducted himself and his career impeccably and I’m sure he wil always have a soft spot for SAFC.Unfortunately with Jobe for us to have signed him in the 1st place it meant his camp would be calling the shots on when he moves on to his next step.
That being said if he does leave which is expected at this point, he leaves with my best wishes, kids got a bit of class and I think he does love it here but his career is already mapped out for him.
Personally I think he’d really struggle and his family won’t want that for him at such a young age.Would love to see how he'd do in the prem for us mind
Aye, seems to me they are the footballing equivalent of the Kardashians! This. Said ages ago that when he leaves it will be on favourable terms for Jobe, the Bellingham brand and not Sunderland AFC unfortunately.
Very good post if I may say so.Team Bellingham obviously take a lot of care and consideration into how Jude and Jobe have moved forward.
My guess is that they may believe Jobe’s stock won’t be as high if he is part of a team likely to get relegated from the PL.
This type of move gets him into the Champions League without the risk of being relegated from that country’s top league.
A season or two later and Real Madrid may come knocking for him to complete the set.
It sounds like something out of a shit Disney movie but just maybe their parents want to see them in the same side together, wining trophies and starting for England together. Who knows.
After all is said and done Jobe agreed to sign a new contract and worked bloody hard to get Sunderland back into the premier league. It’s a kick in the testicles but he deserves to move if that is what he wants. All we can do is wish the lad well.
All I can do personally is look back fondly on his time here. We have seen him develop into a brilliant player while wearing our colours, seen him represent Sunderland at Wembley and play an important role in getting our club where we feel we belong. I can live with that.
You may.Aye, seems to me they are the footballing equivalent of the Kardashians!
Very good post if I may say so.
His parents maybe think he’ll be shielded from the ‘Bellingham’ brand over there. He’s already been slated by half the EFL as living off his brothers name. PL fans and press could shatter his confidence here so they maybe think it’s better for his development to take him out of that spotlight. You’d like to think we can get them in a room and give him a big sell of reasons to stay. He's earned the right to choose after a cracking season, but I don't really understand it from his perspective.
He has loads of potential but still needs to find consistency week-in, week-out. He'd be a guaranteed starter in the PL for us. Will he be afforded the same patience somewhere else, especially if Champions League football is up for grabs? Doubtful really.
It’s literally the move that makes the most sense from his perspectiveHe's earned the right to choose after a cracking season, but I don't really understand it from his perspective.

Aren’t we in a much better position already than the other promoted teams as we have not spent much going up and can use the promotion money as leverage? Genuine question but I presume (as we won’t blow a fortune) we would have no issues regarding FFPIt's a great move for Jobe if he takes it, to be fair. It also gives us a big leg-up with PSR in terms of spending power - I'm assuming it's a 25m+ fee. Good luck to him if he goes, played his part and gave his all.

Hope the “real shame” isn’t veiled criticism of the club , I’d hope club allow players to look at other options, they have a right to look after their own choices and make decisions in their interests as individuals . Presumably players sign for us these days with this as a given. In everyone’s interest long termAs a contracted player he can’t talk to other clubs unless our club gives permission. We must have allowed him to pursue his options which is a real shame. Hopefully he decides to stay and if not it’s critical we get the biggest fee we can. Would be annoyed if we sell on the cheap (less than £30million) due to his potential
You don't actually think this? And it's clearly not him driving this. Jobe is clearly a good lad who has loved his time here. This is being driven by others. He’s obviously doing this to be good to the club too
