Hmmmm, I'd disagree there. She had a 'character' look about her.

I think her looks were probably one of the reasons she didn't succeed in the business TBH. There's loads of journeyman actors who manage to succeed on their looks, and sadly she was not exceptional in either way. She also needed to break her 'Joanie' typecasting, which again requires an extra 'something' she didn't have.

Still, I do have happy memories of her. Very sad news. Not just her death, but her decline into drugs and poverty.
