Latest on Ji

Latest news on Ji is he will remain in the Bundesliga with Dortmund offering 3M transfer fee on the lad. It just makes me sad that we will remain close to relegation yet again with moves we could have avoided with some insight.

Ji is by no way a world beater. But he is only 21 and how many 21 year old plays for the National Team, scores in the Olympics, scores against Chelsea and City and is the consensus the reason a relegation bound team is saved through his heroics?
Most of couldn;t even score with Amanda Jones at that age...

Even Chicharito came to United at 23, RVP did not peak until 24 and Stevie G was over 25 when he went crazy in the Championship League. Cetainly not comparing him to any of the three but he has done more than many think without even getting a proper chance. After some research, I found Korean players all need to serve a mandatory 2 years in the Army unless exempt. Ji is exempt because he won the bronze medal in the last year Olympics. His back up Son Heung Min just signed for 10M for Bayern Leverkusen is NOT exempt as he was not part of the team. Why would Ji's back up for the National side sign for 10M when his status in the Military is not clear and yet some are questioning if we could fetch even 3M for the lad? Is there something Bayern Leverkusen, Dortmund and the National Team seeing in Ji that MON and his legion couldn't see? Is the runner up for the Championship League foolish and us close to relegation much more wiser telling amongst us that he is not suited for this league? Surely amongst this madness we have to look at ourselves and say we did it again. Hope we can finally nuture CW and stop complaining about his shortfalls when he wasn;t even given a chance. Ji will leave us and wish him good luck in the Championship league next year as we will yet again fight for the drop zone and complain about CW, McClean and others while ignoring the fact we are all responsible for the state we will be in. Good luck Ji and don't look back.

I like Ji and think he should be given a chance to impress Di Canio in pre-season but that is utter, made up bollocks. Ji's goal against Man City gave us three points, instead of one, without those extra two points we still would have been seven points clear of the drop.

Think he means Augsburg.

I like Ji, want him to stay...but probably won't.

Re: Latest on Ji

Actually, reading that I now realise you mean saving Augsburg. f***ing hell it is too late for this shite.

Re: Latest on Ji

To all the Ji lovers:

He's shit. He always will be shit. Stop boring the intelligent people with posts like the OP.

Intellegent as MON and his legion or Dortmund and most experts that think otherwise. Hmmm...

Thanks Ms. Ji. And thank your son for the City goal. That was awesome.

I've read some tripe on here and tbh I've contributed my fair share, but where to start with this prized pile of codswallop.
We wont have Ji thus we will be fighting relegation and also because he wasnt here last season that was why we were in a relegation battle.
It's also our fault that his understudy/back up is worth 10m and Ji is worth 3m.
You then draw comparisons with Ji and RVP, Gerrard and man U reserve Chicarito..interesting. It's our fault he wont be as good as these 3, albeit you say he shouldnt be compared even though you have done so.

God knows what this twaddle means

Spurious connections and conspiracy theories are clearly your forte

Re: Latest on Ji

I'd rather let go of Wickham he's turd

People willing to sell Ji for £3m yet most would probably have a corony if Wickham was let go for that. Despite the fact Ji has been just as effective, if not more so than Wickham in the league (despite coming from a totally different country), has full-international experience and goals, and has gone on loan and proved himself in a higher standard of league (with Wickham struggling in the Championship).

Just goes to show how much a price tag influences peoples opinions.

Re: Latest on Ji

To the OP, what a bizarre post. R u one of them lads that used to be fired out of cannons at circuses? Shot away. Daft twat. Nee sense.

Re: Latest on Ji

Cheers for the update.

Like yourself I was hoping he might stay as the lad has done precious little wrong for us in the short time he's spent on the pitch.

Necer compared him as your assumption and imagination is loftier than Peter Pan. Hope you read more carefully. All I am saying is think about yourself coming into Korea at 21 not knowing the language, could you score a goal let alone order lunch? Just saying the lad has had a unfair shake and done more than enough to receive our gratitude than wrath some of the trolls are giving here in this forum. How did I compare them to Ji? I am saying the star players even some peak later unlike Ronaldo, Rooney and Messi who were great at 21. Learn to respect opinions as obviously you have some other issues that seems to make you so digruntled.

Re: Latest on Ji

Just can't imagine PDC discarding Ji without presumably, having seen him train, play at SAFC or talk to him about his future.

The "latest news" in June re any footballer surely has to be taken with a pinch of salt as they are all on holiday, but the media aren't and they have precious space and airwaves to fill with any tripe, loose gossip or made-up 'news' that they can get their hands on.
A bit like the OP.
