1 year left on his contract, no f***ing way would we get £6-7M for him like!
Depends upon how many clubs want him and how much they want him. Market forces may, for once be in our favour.

Apart from the fact there's a few teams willing to pay it, you're right.

Pure guesswork and speculation.
I'd eat my cock if he went for £7M
Looks decent in a better team than us but somehow not good enough for us, hmmm.
Always thought he was a better prospect than Wickham personally, still do.
Not about him not suiting league or team, the 2 managers he played under didn't give him a chance. When he played he did look good.
You up for the chop like
Our family in our naivety thought he was lightweight but was capable of scoring goals and was is Noble...........but what would we know
there was a clip of Ji's best moments for Augsberg and they were mediocre to say the least
I assume they were one fan's idea if his best moments...
I did watch this and aside from a couple of very well taken goals and some nice interplay with his team mates I'd agree there wasn't anything that would have you salivating, but I've been watching him in full games for Augsburg, and a lot of his work is water carrying...moving the ball through the midfield to the attackers whilst keeping possession. Not eye catching, but necessary work in any non hoofball team and he does it very well.
He isn't the finished article but he is young and we'd let him rot for almost 2 years.
No wonder he wants away...
He didn't look all that good for us, but then again he was barely given a chance. He didn't even play once for us last season. And now he's gone to Germany and proven himself to be a decent player in a midfield role whilst we struggled to fill a bench.
Thanks Martin.
The SMB law of economics;
Ji on the verge of being sold for £500,000 - "Cash in, will never be a premier league player for as long as I have a hole in my arse".
Ji on the verge of being sold for £7m - "Disgraceful that he wasn't given a chance and a scandal that we're selling proven big-league starlets just when we're supposed to be rebuilding."
Pure guesswork and speculation.
