The missus and I are off to Jersey at Easter, visiting family.

I'd rather not spend all my time with them :) What's to do and see there? Any particularly fine pubs and restaurants?

All good advice welcome!

Was there a few years back. Some good seafood restaurants but if you are staying in st helier you will need to go to the centre to get a drink after 11.

Staying at my sisters place in Trinity which is opposite side of the island to St Hellier.

Ive booked a hirecar so not restricted to that area. Looking forward to some beach roaming

I was hoping for some good seafood restaurants. Any particular suggestions?

the salty dog mate seafood platter is unreal me and the missus are actually going back just for that! lovely place really enjoyed our 3 days there

my bird (nee pics) is from there so iv been numerous times and worked there for a bit. as suggested already, salty dog is the tits, also try the atlantic right in the city centre i had a lush meal there. go for breakfast at big verns, city centre is really good for shopping (surprised how cheap it was and all the gear is good). theres durrells (sp?) zoo there which is full of endangered species which is worth a look. the marina is class, i managed a few sailing days out when i was over there

I've only ever been once and it pissed down all friggin weekend
went for a tenpin bowling event and bumped into Woosie, I offered to give him tenpin coaching if he would coach me in golf ;) sadly he declined
