a pertinent question in amongst all the shit waffle on this thread:

If he does sign and there's a coaching role offered beyond this season, If JD still felt he had something to offer ,would you keep him registered as a player if we got promoted?
 
Arriving for a 2 day fitness assessment before the club makes any decision.
They dont want to lay out the money if he is miles away from being able to contribute.Sensible approach.
This is from a lad who just came to my office, he also said he had been told this will be a busy week at SOL regarding transfers and that there is 4 x midfielders we have been looking at.
Please note the 'had been told'

It's well worth remembering that and the numerous players we've had who will 'be class at this level' and never were. If we do sign him, which I'm not convinced we will, hopefully he chips in with enough to see us over the line

Following on from Wilson's article and Johnson’s comments last night, is there a chance Johnson is just trying to keep fans happy when there is not much intent to sign him. Then it'll be, look we tried but it didn't come off?

I really don’t think he’ll care about what the “wa doomed” brigade think on here mind, it was simply a case of keeping his cards close to his chest as should be done, there was then uproar on here with people should be claiming Johnson should be sacked.

Comedy gold.
