Jermain Defoe (no longer a rumour)


We lack experience up front and players of his ilk like Pop Robson and SKP have proven that they can still contribute at similar age. From a profile and feel good factor it would be a remarkable coup. Still massively unlikely though.

Sure your Auntie is a cracking volleyball player but what the f*ck has that got to do with us potentially signing one of the best recent English goalscorers to play in league 1 at age 39......??

Seriously though... I'd have thought 6 months at West Ham with a coaching role, played there before and under Moyes...... Or 18 months at Bournemouth
