Jeremy Clarkson will remain the host on Who wants to be a millionaire

I've never liked him, am not interested in the royal family or their internal dramas. What he wrote is vile and full of misogynist hatred which reveals a lot about him, none of it edifying. If he had said it about the women in your family would you be happy? Would you find it acceptable? His own daughter is ashamed of him. His 'apology' just confirmed what an arse he us. He and Piers Morgan have a real problem with Meghan Markle to the point of mental illness and are very poor examples of masculinity, who bully without consequence

I didn't mind him until he left the BBC.

Seems to have became a weapons grade tosser since then.

His weird cult following is bizarre too.

The specials him and the other two churn out on Amazon these days is utter shite too. It's a shame because I quite like May.
The stuff May does is far better than the other twos separate stuff. I like Clarkson's farm but the series where he cooks stuff and goes to Japan is sublime

The bit with the travelling robot and 'bim' is up there with classic Tg for me. Its so stupid but funny
Agreed aye.

For me, classic top gear peaked around the same time when they did those races across Europe / the uk (clarkson in a car and the other two on a plane/train/bus).

That must have been around the mid to late noughties.

Whole thing gradually became unwatchable towards the time he was given the boot (that one where they staged destroying that village in Norway with combine harvesters sticks in my mind as being shite or the pugeot spoof not long before they left the bbc which was cringeworthy at best).

Thought the Amazon series’ were very underwhelming and the specials as I’ve said are, in my opinion, utter gash.

I'd say 'peak top gear' was maybe 04/05-11/12 sort of thing. Some of later silly ones were funny like the camping one or the red nose day ground force crossover

Oh well, it's not as if we have a problem with violence against women and girls in this country. I mean, he only said he wanted her to be forcibly stripped naked and walked down the street so strangers could throw shit at her.
There’s a huge problem with attitudes to women still. This board is a microcosm of it.

Dangerous letting stuff like that go unchecked.

I think they’re class viewing tbf

To be fair it's not like he's punched anyone. Again.

Mind you why anyone would have such a hatred of someone else without any great deal of personal interaction with them or them having any great interaction with people in your life is odd. Especially if he genuinely hates her more than a serial killer.

Again, what he says is ment to be taken with a pinch of salt. He's made a career out of patter like this.
