Jeremy Clarkson will remain the host on Who wants to be a millionaire

I don’t think he would have used the same language about a man and I doubt many on here would have found it so amusing if he had. Meghan said she’d received abuse from the British press. I think suggesting she should be paraded down the street naked and pelted with excrement is pretty abusive. Makes you wonder how much of the rest of her claims are true. Certainly makes me and many other women more sympathetic towards her.
Any woman who is discussed on here always has her appearance judged first and some comment about how much people do or don’t find her attractive. Don’t often have similar comments about the men.
Most attacks and harassment suffered by women happen because they’re women. Men feel entitled to say things to women they don’t know and seem to think we should be flattered rather than annoyed. It’s “banter” rather than bullying or intimidation.
Not all attacks or criticism of women are misogynistic. Liz Truss was a dreadful PM. Suella Braverman has performed badly in all her cabinet jobs. Their appearances and gender are irrelevant. The men in the cabinet are equally useless but nobody usually criticises them for being unattractive or badly dressed. That’s the difference women face.
Excellent post. It will be lost on the Clarkson followers sadly.

Can't help but like the fella. A bit outspoken at times but generally says what most folk are thinking.
His partner Lisa Hogan is attractive too.

Harry has no choice, might as well use the media against itself 🤷
Clarkson just showing himself up for what he is, again as you say nothing new.
I am summising, as never met the bloke, but is that what / who Clarkson is or is that a very financially successful persona?
Harry does have a choice. He, Meghan & the media are all peddling rumour and hearsay. He is getting paid a huge sum to perpetuate the cycle.
I rest my case
Piers missus is very attractive as well. Woman like knackers it appears.

Can’t remember Boris being criticised for being badly dressed, not once.

Completely agree with all of that.

I just think sometimes people read too much into things to make them worse than they actually are because the target has some kind of protected characteristic.

Most of what he says is aye. But it's words none the less

"It's only words and words are all I have
To take your heart away
It's only words and words are all I have
To take your heart away."

He might have been jesting but he went over the top with what he said about Megan. I've heard him say similar stuff on top gear but that was aimed at a group like traffic wardens. Aiming it at an individual changes it from funny to just plain nasty. The Sun shouldn't have published it either.

People need to stop being so wet and precious

Ronan should get pelted with shite anarl...

It's obviously a joke, he doesn't really think she should be paraded through the streets. Just like Jo Brand doesn't really want to thow acid on politicians.
But like most people, he really dislikes Meghan Markle for her lies, smears, and desperate grab for fame.
Why doesn't Harry get the same treatment?
Haven't followed the H&M thing too closely but I thought they would've both had to agreed to do the Netflix show.

Because Harry isn’t black and lots of the British public love doffing their cap to the royals . Strange crowd .

I don't like Clarkson. I don't find him funny or entertaining but other people do. I usually just avoid anything he's involved in and I don't feel I'm missing anything. He seems to work for enough people that there is no chance he'll be set aside any time soon.
