There was a story doing the rounds that the reason Epstein was let off with a lenient sentence a few years ago was because Acosta (the US attorney at the time or whatever he was) was told that he (Epstein) "belonged to intelligence". Was Epstein providing blackmail material on high profile figures for the intelligence services? We already know this stuff goes on.

no, suicide watch means checking on someone at set intervals, usually about 15 minutes observations, plenty of time for someone who wants to do it unfortunately. According to the coroner my BiL was dead within 5 minutes of doing what he did and because of the placement of the chain unconscious immediately.
However the whole things still smells iffy
