Nobody in their right mind would take the England job at the moment they are going to get a hiding off the Aussies this summer then tour South Africa next winter, it would be professional suicide.

Not convinced by this going to be very tough, but England have a chance

Vaughan only ever recommends players or coaches with a Yorkshire connection

Vaughan says a lot of stuff each week, he has numerous theories and ideas, some valid, most of it shite

This is the man who said last summer that Morgan should he the English test captain!

I think we do need someone of Gillespie's ilk though, agree with him there, a no nonsense type of bloke who can clear players mind, keep it simple

Very few coaches will want the job, not because it is England, but because they can earn big money for 6 weeks work in the IPL

Mike Hesson?

He's turned them around big style - look dangerous in all three formats now.

I would love Gillespie to take over the England team.

Along with McCullum.

He binned Taylor which was a surprise to most and backed his man.

McCullum has turned the Kiwi's into a decent unit since and they look a good deal fitter and stronger when competing with the bigger test nations.

And yes- Gillespie in for me re England.

Don't forget that Colin Graves will be soon in the ECB set up and guess which County he comes from into the job.

Let's be honest, he doesn't really think much before he presses the send tweet button

He says there odd thing that makes sense, but he says so so much stuff, and has so many wild theories that it is hard to swift through all that shite and find something decent

Why not an Aussie? We had 2 Zimbabwean coaches who proved to be our most successful in years. Troy Cooley was in charge of our bowlers for the beginning our successful spell, an Aussie! As another poster says, I have no interest where they are from, purely what they can offer the side.

Exactly. Can't be choosy when your best era came with 16 South Africans, Zimbabwaeans and everything else in the team! ;)
