Here's my two penneth

I reckon Milner could leave City this season. He will want first-team football week in week out because he;s getting older.
City are on a spending cap aren't they? So they might have to get rid of 3/4 players to bring ones in.
The downside is, I think there will be better teams after him than us. Spurs and Everton to name two, even them lot up the road would be ahead of us in the pecking order.

I'd love him here, But I don't think it's happening.

He wouldn't get in the Spurs or Everton team.

Not sure Everton will have much money left after the Lukaku deal and I don't see him being a Pochettino player. Agree with everything else you've said though (edit, except the Mags, don't think they can afford it after the deals they've done and what Ashley will spend).

Milner and Rodwell would be brilliant for us. After all Poyet has said we would be getting some players to surprise us or words to that effect didn't he?
