Conflict - no sorry, eg mags & Salop

Ageing - caught in between stools with this one as eg (some) wines age & some don’t

Failure - no sorry, it’s often only temporary 🤭

The Test? - the test of time seems appropriate or Wakey’s Wacky World of Wobbles, cloughywobbles 😳💋😩😄
I'm always between stools, marra. Talking of which, time to make toilickt....

Arl wines age: stand before a ticking clock with a glass in yer mitt then tell me otherwise. Speaking of which, all ages whine anarl....

Salop & Scotch is arnly a coalition of convenience, steeped in conflict....

Failing may be temporary, but it's nevertheless inevitable.

Another: Weebles wobble but they dinnat farl down....

No mate, not as far as I’m aware. my uncle passed away many years ago now. I’m glad the park is still there, the water chute in particular. I’ll try and visit it again some day if I’m in the area.
You need young un's they would love it.

Love Blazing Saddles, great clip 🌬🌬😨

Afternoon, Sis, la. Yes, I went to see my mate with lung cancer on Tuesday. He'd been to see the oncologist the previous day, who was delighted with the outcome of the lobectomy. He still has to have some "mild chemotherapy" to "mop up". That should start in March. Two of his brothers paid him a surprise visit from Dublin, sho that cheered him up no end.
My mate with NHL recently finished his second bout of brutal chemotherapy. He sent me a photo of himself out walking his daughter's dogs in the woods. He looks great. Way better than me (although that's damning him with faint praise, ha, ha). Thanks for asking, Sis, la.
Great news, a disease that effect every family, but we inch closer towards a cure and medicine is much more effective.

I have a monthly direct debit to a few charities including Cancer Research, the developments in treatment has been remarkable. The cure can’t come fast enough.

My eldest just got an offer from Imperial for biomedical science, which is heavily focused on cancer research.

I have 2 d/d for local hospice and air ambulance, but as you rightly mentioned it cannot come quick enough.
Good new with regards to your eldest, is that part of the Cambridge Science Park if so he has done well, good luck to him

Yeah one of my other ones is for St Benedicts hospice in Ryhope, can't praise them enough for the level of care and support they provided over the last few days with my dad. Some very special people work there

No Imperial is linked with the Royal Marsden in London, probably the top cancer hospital in the world but yes he has done well, his school was amazed with his offer as normally 2 or 3A*'s required. He had a weeks placement in the summer at the Welcome Trust in Oxford, which would have helped his application but there were over 20 applicants for each place on that course, so he did very well on that application.

That's class

My daughter is keen on biochemistry and would like to work on medical research in the Life centre labs in Newcastle. She's only 12 though, so she might change her mind yet :D
