HC - agree with your going out with colleagues comment, although we get on ok, I don’t wish to socialise with em. I choose my mates & who I want to meet up with. Occasionally there might be one or two, but not very often.

The lads I worked with were good lads, but when you spend most of the day with them at work, the last thing you want to talk about on a night out, is work.

I stopped going on work do's with my colleagues, because despite seeing them all week, for 13 hours each day, once they were in the pub, all they talked about was work, and how much overtime they'd worked, and why they thought they deserved more overtime/pay/promotion

Football has a knack of taking us from the highest of high's and then bringing us back down to earth with a swift and painful kick in the plums.
Yersels and Leeds are having a wobble, but should be ok.
Have a good day, anyway, and like I always say after a poor performance, - "things'll be better next game"

Cheers HC, never been so the football was a great excuse, out for 6 nights, 1st 3 with family, last 3 with mates.
Timing is excellent as my lads will be finishing A levels and GCSEs and sadly this trip clashes with trips they were wanting to do with their mates to Zante and Marbs to celebrate end of exams, now what could possibly go wrong on trips like those

Morning SFATI, good win last night you must be on a high, pleased for you.Morning Hank & morning all. Just at work and one of the girls here brought me a Strawberry & Vanilla cup cake. She said her husband watched the game last night and she has no interest in football whatsoever but she knows I support Stoke City so she sat and watched it which takes some doing. Man C all being well later depending on the day. Have a great Tuesday and enjoy the footy tonight,.

Helicopter due at 12:45 mate. 1 1/2 hour flight. Train from Aberdeen about 4pm. Change in Edinburgh. Back in Durham half nine. In the house around ten tonight all being well.
