Morning MM, agree regarding the match yesterday, cricketers making heavy weather of it this morning.
Morning Vic you would think the pitch would have helped the spinners even more, let’s hope 1 more wicket and we can get rid of the tail.

A hat-trick from Charlie Wyke fired Sunderland to a convincing win over struggling AFC Wimbledon at Plough Lane.

The visitors went ahead within seven minutes when Elliot Embleton's ball over the top was just kept in play by Aiden O'Brien on the right and his cut-back fell to the feet of Wyke, who bundled the ball in from close range.
The game continued at the same fast pace, with tackles flying in from every angle and plenty of chances at both ends, but neither side could quite apply the finishing touch.

The hosts spent most of the second half on the front foot, with Nesta Guinness-Walker and Ethan Chislett both going close, and they were made to pay for their misses late on.

Wyke flicked home at the near post from Grant Leadbitter's corner in the 87th minute before grabbing his third in stoppage time, latching on to Josh Scowen's through ball before lifting the ball over the onrushing Sam Walker - who was making his league debut for the hosts - to seal the deal.

Morning all, the blades and Liverpool for me. It’s a lovely day here in BWH. Been for a walk round the estate and into the cemetery where I had a chat with my Nan.
My dilemma today is this, I like a slurp on a Sunday afternoon, listening to Johnny Walker, I supped my wine unexpectedly last night and now haven’t got any. Do I go out and buy some or do I do without ?
Think it will be the latter, peaceful day everyone.

May I suggest you re-consider your plan of action. Setting dangerous precedents...

Good morning Hank and good morning Bec's just the bindippers, is it possible for them both to lose. Thank you

Good morning lads and lasses, what make this thread was shown by the messages posted to @Dilligaf60 yesterday messages of support and speedy recovery for Mrs D.
Very heartwarming
I have a busy day cleaning up after the builders and then tip run, roast dinner tonight and a walk inbetween
Good win yesterday LJ has inherited a bunch of player he may not of wanted but is knocking them into some sort of team, not pretty at times but 6 games 3w, 3 d no losses.
One thing l have noticed is Wyke getting across his man more something from the training ground.
I quickly read @becs match post lastnight, fxxk me some need to hang there head in shame
I have seen Billy Cotton's band show live @gluepot and @viccarlton, we spent all my childhood summer holidays in Margate to my Aunties who worked at the Winter Gardens, when my uncle did a nightshift we would be taken to the evening show to be kept an eye on, Billy Cotton, Frank Iffield, Petula Clark, Gerry and the Pacemakers and the Searches all come to mind.

Have a cracking day stay safe and be kind whilst having a smile

A man walks into a bar....
