Could’ve been bigger than the Red hot chilli peppers if they came out a few months earlier.

Same thing really, LA band, drug users shagging supermodels then turn into vegan activists when they turn into old farts.

For the record, they were a canny band.

Chilli Peppers, Janes Addiction & Faith No More all played live around the midlands the same time. All great live bands and cheap as chips to go and see (£8 at the Hummingbird, Rock City etc). British alternatives at the time round our way were Crazyhead, Gay 'Bikers on Acid, Hunters Club, nothing like as cool..

They're not really underrated though, are they? Perhaps not well known but not underrated.

Agree,its about right,they were well rated at one point.Some belters and some filler
