He’d have to get into the team ahead of Maja on merit though wouldn’t he?I’d rather just ride the injuries out than loan him. If we are going to loan a striker I’d rather a big physical type as a backup to Wyke. Don’t want him stifling Maja’s development for the sake of it.
No mate. The fact it was in the press a few hours later makes me think something is in it, but with it being a loan I doubt its been a priority today. I havent had any more info at all.Did you find out how close it is mate?

Exactly. He hasn't committed Maja, I still say he's got to work harder. Sometimes it looks like he doesn't enjoy football imo.Until Maja signs a new contract he doesn't deserve any particular loyalty from us. If Wilson is a bit better now I'd sign him on loan and play him. The time to concern ourselves about Maja's development will be when he commits to a few more years. Nothing at all against Maja, and if he outperformed Wilson then he'd rightly keep his place, but I wouldn't worry about his future development when he's shown no indication that the future will be with us
Is John Ross related to jack Ross?

Ross Wallace available on a free...
I think you'll find that's league division 3If there is a place for this type of player to get their careers back on track it’s League One
100% agree.Until Maja signs a new contract he doesn't deserve any particular loyalty from us. If Wilson is a bit better now I'd sign him on loan and play him. A fair point well made. However, he is unlikely to commit without us committing to developing him or without assurances of getting football. Could end up with a rock/hard place situation. But yes I agree that if Wilson is outperforming him or proving to be a better player at this point then he should be starting ahead of Maja as, like you say, we don't owe him any loyalty at this point.Until Maja signs a new contract he doesn't deserve any particular loyalty from us. And the option to return him at first signs of long term injury or poor attitude.Hope we have a ‘to buy’ option as well.
Do you actually say f***ing shite like that in real life, or just something you think looks good on here? He's Fookin shoite
More loans than Wonga in Longbenton
Who's this Yorkshire gonk?I think you'll find that's league division 3
Two loans atm and one of them would have been a permanent signing expect we wouldn't have made the deadline. He's Fookin shoite

So was McNair so I doubt it doesHe’s good friends with Watmore by the way, if that makes any difference.
A fair point but problem is none of us no the true situation, sure Maja was offered a new contract under the old regime which he did not take up but has he been offered anything by the new regime? It’d be a surprise even incompetence if he hasn’t been told he has a future at the club but probably agreeing a new contract has had to take second place to moving the unwanted out and rebuilding the squad. Now that the window is closing if not closed the club should be able to concentrate on sorting out not just Majas future but that of other players such as Gooch and Honeyman who are in the last 12 months of their contracts.
So was McNair so I doubt it does
