Re: Ian Abrahams - Talk Sport News

Weren't people on hear slagging him off during the World cup or was that my imagination?

I'm not scared to hold my hands up. I slagged him off during the Euros this year. I don't think he done much but run around, he was Englands worst player.
I also live in the real world and know Milner would walk into our team and have a very good chance of becoming our best player in years.

What's his relationship with MoN like? Maybe that could help a move. Did MoN quit Villa because he lost Milner?

Aye. Agree with the rest of this post anarl. Slated him during Euros but you don't have the be amongst the best in Europe to represent Sunderland.

Apparently, the sale of Milner was last straw for MON at Villa. Was told by Lerner he wasn't going to sell him then did. If you look at the player he bought from the Mags (for £7mill I think) he left Villa far better than when they got him, so I reckon Milner will appreciate MON 'cos he improved him as a player, both right side and through the middle. Obviously Man City made him shit again! Was key at Villa and on periphery at Man City...

Always wondered what the hell happened with milner. Looked good as a striker at 17 (?) Then ended up tight wing somewhere along the line.

Im sure it was over 10m Villa paid for him, and i think it wasnt so much he was sold that made MON snap, it was the fact Lerner wouldnt give him 7m of the fee to sign Scott Parker.

At 16 he was the youngest ever Premiership scorer when he scored for Leeds against guess who.

He was always a midfielder. Scored his first goal for Leeds against us, when running from deep. He'd be an excellent signing.

City fan here obviously.

Their is not a chance we will sell you Milner Mancini is a big fan and will want to keep him.

Johnson maybe.

I don't think we will sign Milner anyway, but like many clubs now the manager doesn't always get to say who stays and goes when books have to be balanced
