James Milner

:lol::lol:

This board man. Milner would be an unbelievable signing for us. He grafts his nuts off, good tackler, can operate in numerous positions, excellent with both feet, good crosser, good at set pieces, he can shift and he's played for O'Neill before.

He would be the first name on the teamsheet. Exactly the calibre of player we need if we are to improve significantly. The way O'Neill talks about the quality needed makes me think this could be true.

Hope so, I would be delighted.

I'll believe it when I see him holding an safc scarf above his head, but if he does sign he will instantly be one of our best players! Think people need to give their heads a shake if they think he's shit or 'not good enough for us'.

We could sign the entire Spanish National team and half the Man City first team and there would be a sizeable chunk on here who would say they are good squad players but we still still need to sign some players with class.

Simon Bird(Mag isn't he) reckons the story's bullshit in his latest tweet:

@simonbirdmirror: Contrary to rumours, hear James Milner is not heading to #safc and will still be a #mcfc player next season.

If Man City are to let Milner leave, I dare say there would be a few clubs higher up the food chain than us that would be interested in him.

Re: Ian Abrahams - Talk Sport News

He must work for free cos every report by him is completely baffling, littered with mispronounciations and bad grammer.

How the feck has he got a job on radio where coming across reasonably clear is a big help.

Deliberate?

Would be a quality signing, centre mid for me. Would make us a better team instantly. MON knows what he's doing hes proved it time and time again. Whether its Milner or someone else he'll improve the team.

Would be over the moon with this. Can hold possession, pick put a pass, deliver a cross, spray the ball around and has a canny shot on him. Wasted as a bit part player at city but, alas, I just can't see this one happening.
