Hounded out by Tommy Robinson hangers on. Rather he was on my side than play against him.
He's just as big a bell end as Tommy Robinson, both bigots and I wouldn't give the pair of them the time of day
That said he's turned out a much better footballer than I ever thought he would

What's Tommy Robinson got to feel aggrieved about?

At Sunderland? The reality was his form dropped horribly and he struggled to get back in the first team. We also changed managers and he wasn't fancied. I never get why this place seems to have ago at our support at every opportunity.
Not everyone mate. Be careful, you are doing the same.

Jack Colback's less popular twin.

Gutted for Wales. Would have been good to see Bale in another international competition.

The fact remains he was a decent player for us. Our fans just couldn't get over the fact he had a different unpopular opinion about things.

He doesn't help himself sometimes mind I must admit.

He was totally out of order, the football field is not the place to express political opinions.
Sunderland have had many Irish and other foreign players over the years and not a hint of anything, they came to play football and be paid for doing so and did not disrespect British traditions.

Perhaps, had the British not invaded his home town of Derry and openly slaughtered Catholics, he may have some more respect for your precious traditions?

I would argue in that case that there should be no poppy on shirts. Or at least - you shouldn't force players to wear it. If a player wants to wear it then fine but there should always have a choice. It's not North Korea.

Put it this way, if someone told me walking into the match "You can't get into the SOL unless you buy a poppy today to get through the turnstiles" i'd walk off and go home.

I couldn't give a shite if I get pelters from people on this issue either.

Watch it, mate.

You'll probably get some gonk who wanks to Tweets from Tommy Robinson tell you that you're a supporter of the IRA and a terrorist sympathiser for that.

Oh, and you're not "patriotic" for not wearing a poppy, etc.
