Do they place so much value on them that they demand everyone pay the same value?

Is he not free to disrespect the national anthem if he so wishes? Why do you want to force him to do so? Do you really care this much about your country or is this yet more outrage over absolutely fuck all?

Of course not, well I don't anyway.

It isn't fuck all by the way. He flew in the faces of his own club's support. I doubt for one minute the bombings in Birmingham entered into his tiny little head?

You want to force him to respect the flag.

Why shouldn't he be free to disrespect the flag in a non-violent, non-hated inciting way? He simply stood there with his head bowed.

I obviously don't condone violence or flag burning etc but if someone does not want to pay their respects to a national anthem why should they have to?!
Nobody asked him to kiss the f***ing thing, all he had to do was stand there.

And what about the disrespect shown to the fans he was representing

Everything you type man, it's just sewage.

How is it though? What exactly about it is 'sewage' there marra?

So his personal values should reflect those of the supporters of the team he plays for? Don't agree with that like.

Nobody asked him to kiss the f***ing thing, all he had to do was stand there.

Which he did.

What a Berk you are. He could have faced the same way as his team mates. Never expected to watch the tit recite GSTQ, he chose to act in a way that was guaranteed to draw attention and cause controversy. I'd be mortified if an Englishman did that whilst representing a foreign team.

Do the fans he represents demand that he pays tribute to their national anthem like? It's no disrespect to them personally, or to their club, he simply chose not to show respect to the national anthem.

Does anyone on here complaining about him even know the second verse to the national anthem?

He's free to act how he wants, and you're free to think that I'm a berk if you want to.

Do you know the second verse to the national anthem? Do you stand up and show respect to the flag every time it's flown?

Everything. Your just being delibaretely contrary for the sake of it. It's boring.

It's got to the point now like that I can't disagree with someone because they think I'm being contrary to them for the sake of it.

I do actually have opinions, sometimes they don't flow the same way as the outraged majority on the SMB getting all het up about what way some young lad was facing during a national anthem

More sewage.

A) To me, and probably many others, a poppy symbolizes the sacrifice alot of young men/women/children made (many forced) for without doubt, a more positive future.

B) If you don't agree with the national anthem (I for one think the words are silly and outdated), don't try and re-ignite a nasty bigoted period with attention seeking actions. Just don't sing it.

I would expect him to act with respect and a wee bit dignitywhilst he represents any club I support, its much more preferable to bigotry.
out of interest, was the wba team wearing a respect armband?

tbf you do often come across as someone who is just contrary for the sake of it, or to get attention. I'm not sure which.
there again it may just be the way you word your posts
im not sure

Like everyone else who has called my opinions worse than shite on here marra you are more than welcome to ignore my posts
If it's all right with yourself, I'll happily point out when you're talking shite, after all it's my right to do so, just like it's JC's right to act like a tit, a point you have been repeatedly banging on about in this thread in your OCD stylee.

Am I OCD? I thought I was more Frijjtistic.

Feel free to call my opinions shite, you are after all, very entitled to do so

No I don't stand up and sing it, and I wouldn't expect him to sing it. Berk.
