If we don’t go up it will be an interesting call from the owners. Ross has said himself he’ll have failed if we don’t go up.
He's a very honest guy by admitting that and it's probably the majority view as well. Failing to win promotion in your first season isn't a disaster and missing it by a whisker is a good attempt with all considered. Personally I'm enjoying going to the matches, seeing us win occasionally and not getting beat. I could handle another season in league 1 and we'd be firm favourites with a squad ready for the challenge. Ross leaving is the worst outcome possible.

A converted midfielder who is right footed and is playing right back and not left footed like your grand plan.

O’Nien has been our most consistent player and hasn’t put a foot wrong playing whilst playing right back.

You clueless ****
Many if not all full backs can play either side. Stop talking absolute shite. You’ve obviously never played and get your knowledge from champ manager or somewhere. Bardsley played on his not preferred side many times. Oviedo could quite easily do the same.
You clueless **** !!

We've looked shite most of the season. Ross has over promised and undelivered thus far. Be a pretty major turn around in the performances of the whole team to get into the top 2. It could and should be quite achievable but our form over the past 8 games is shocking compared to Barnsley.

Before people get all out of bed I'm not advocating a change of manager and think Ross should get next season whatever happens. Simply giving a view based on what I've seen on the pitch week in week out.

As others have mentioned and it's a view I agree with, if Ross looked and sounded like that fat knacker coach driver who was at posh then he would be getting much more grief. Many fans are a bit smitten with Ross based primarily on his looks and amiable style.
He's good with the players and despite unconvincing performances, were not losing games. Scotsmen are dour by default; I'm one.

Let's bring in Steve Evans then? Hope you're gonna reply to that btw
The owners have given Ross a decent squad which he seems unable to either motivate or gel. I'm disappoint he doesn't play the way he did at St Mirren. A high press and rapid counter attacks. Having made Honeyman captain and link between midfield and attack the quick counter attacks and high press founder with him and the other slow coaches. He needs to go back to what he did well at St Mirren. He's like a rabbit caught in the headlights in the technical area during games, being out-thought and out-fought by journeyman managers. I want him to do well but if we don't at least make the play-ffs can the owners afford to trust him to get it right next season?
