All depends on perspective doesn't it, Could the team of been set out better last night, yes it could are their players on the bench who could of made a difference from the defensive point of view.. yes, could maguire of been on sooner yes, all of this is just that perspective, because had Grigg scored his chances we would be talking about a home win, however we are not.
Which is the bit when I think i could the team have
Exactly Janey

What I cannot understand is that there are some fans of our 'age' that are knee jerking

Can maybe get it and possibly understand from the young 'uns

Still we all have different opinions which is fair enough I suppose
I truly and honestly respect people’s opinions. I don’t criticise kids who didn’t see 12/19 points. But, if you didn’t see it, don’t say you gaging a bad time supporting #safc

I admire your optimism (genuinely) but I don't know why anyone is even contemplating whether he can go on to be the best we've ever had, or why anyone thinks he has the potential to be a top manager. Did really well at St Mirren like but he's shown nothing here so far to get anyone excited imo. I get the fact that he looks the part and he sounds intelligent, often think if he didn't sound so assured, and if he was a bit fatter he would be rated a lot less on here.

I'm not saying he needs to go, I'd keep him as well, but @Mrjardine makes a fair point, this squad should really be winning the league. Any promotion will be job done but if we end up in the play offs and don't go up there will rightly be a lot of questions asked of him. He's got a second choice eleven that would be the envy of many sides in this league. Failing to get this squad up would be a massive failure. It would also be a huge blow to have our last parachute payments whilst still in league one. Ross knows this himself, he said promotion was his target even before we spent more on deadline day than the entire league spent last season. Getting us up this season is par for the course, he can impress by making us competitive in the league above
We can only go on what we've seen & heard so far. I think he's impressive. The race is only two thirds in. The final third is the most important. Let's see how it plays out. Until then it's premature to be making anything other than preliminary judgements.
I don't agree with the premise that this squad should be winning the league. That apparently simple statement begs so many questions. The word "should" is freighted with so many assumptions & simply doesn't stand up to any close scrutiny, in my opinion. Anyway, let's not get too bogged down with that & stay open minded, at least until such time as the race is run, one way or another.

Yes and due to the last few games, he has brought it on himself, with mistakes of his own making, tactical errors, player selections etc, now he has to answer his critics, with 4 wins, and show that he can get what is needed out of those players, and get us promoted, but make no mistake as you say.. the pressure is on.

Might as well sack him now if the bar is set at 4 wins. Not saying it can't be done but hardly likely after 6 draws in 7. I'd settle for a couple of wins - we're at the stage now where we need to rely on others to drop points.

If we fail to get promoted this season, losing in the play-offs. We are in for a repeat of 1998-1999.

Finish 3rd, lose playoffs= Absolutely decimate the league next season and push for 100 points. I have full confidence in Jack Ross to learn from this mistakes and kick on if that happens.

100% opposed to any managerial changes. We will never get anyone better at this level.

Need to get promoted this season, massive failure if we don't. Fk the last 2 seasons. We started the season very well and should have kicked on, unfortunately we are getting worse. Everyone was saying when a team comes to the SOL and try and play football we'll murder them well Accrington came on Friday and played us off the park until thankfully the lad up front went off injured. Ross's selection of Cattermole, McGeouch and Power on Friday night is really worrying, what was his thinking? Continually picking out of form players Gooch and Wyke, selecting an attacking midfielder O'Nein at RB (who's done ok but should be given a chance instead of Honeyman in midfield) when we have Matthews, picking James over Oviedo at LB, leaving Flanagan out after beating Wimbledon and replacing him with Baldwin. The supporters backed the owners, the owners backed the manager, the manager needs to deliver promotion.
