I don't think its all on what happens in may at this point Botchie, i think our season is going to be decided over the next 4 league games, by the 12th of march we will know, if its automatic or play offs, and right now given we can't seem to pick up a win its in favour of the play offs or worse. but 12th of march is day its decided for sure.
That's this season marra. We could flop and continue to be poor, then I would ask questions. However we could take it on the chin, finish strong and look like we have a plan, still only make the play offs and miss out. Both would be gutting, but the second scenario buys the manager another shot imo. The first means he has to be made accountable. Football has a habit of not going the way you think so I'll make my judgement in May marra.

Agree, he took over a mess, has he made mistakes of course, but give him next season without a horrific summer. Changing now would be another knee jerk in a history of knee jerks for me.
I think, if we don't go up, he'll prepare us a lot more accordingly next season. Lots of ins and outs.

Nice one man. Also didn't want to fall out. Just a bit frustrated at these constant draws .
Same mate. Right f***ing chew on! Message to other board members, while I'm on me high horse. This is how old school board laaaaads, have a crack. Debate, disagree, but all good.

Anyone can make an argument based on things which may or may not happen.

What if we stick with him and finish 7th in league one next year? For example.

The point is, I think people have a right to be a bit pissed off and worried about how the football hasn't progressed over the course of the season. And you, and Billy, still haven't recognised the fact that I have said several times I don't want him sacked. Still, it must feel good up there on your high horse.
If course we can all do that.
I’ve never said we shouldn’t be a tadge pissed off, I don’t think. I agree with you that we shouldn’t sack him, so I’m not sure why we are arguing.
I’m on no high horse, honestly

I haven't made a judgement call on his management just yet, but i think by the 12th of march, that opinion may begin to form. but at the moment win all 4 games, then its the biggest game of the season, to decide who goes up with luton. simple as that.

He needs to answer some questions, he’s not above question.
I’ve said many times I’m one of the first to stand by managers too long, in this instance I don’t think I am.
As much as the owners took over a shit show, so did he.
But, we’ve had great success swoping and changing managers on a season basis lately, not. It Always seems to be some of the same posters supporting the appointment if a manager and then demanding change

I’ve said elsewhere, we scraped by in the premier league for years bulleting managers when they were failing. The one time we stuck with one in Moyes, we went down and we’ve been on a downward trajectory since.

There’s no argument for sticking with a manager works, sacking them doesn’t.

If it’s the right manager and he had the team firing, stick with him, if we’re unlucky, stick with him, if it’s a blip, stick with him.

This has been FOUR MONTHS of gradual worsening performances.

No knee jerking, no pitch forks, just questions rightly being asked.

I think Luton are up, but Nathan Jones was manager from 2016, he was given time.

You've been quiet today though so I'll assume that it was a good night and you needed some peace and quiet today? :p
It was a canny night. Quiet partly because a mass for me dad at 9.15 on a Saturday, partly because I can’t do the vitriol and anger, partly because due to the combination of hospitality and an early mass I slept most of the afternoon

Like i said i haven't really formed an opinion of Ross yet, however i do have questions, he would go along way to answering some of those, with a return of wins on the bounce, and then going into the barnsley game full of confidence, ready to play what at that point may or not be the biggest game of the season.

Yep he isn’t above questioning and constructive criticism.
It would have been great to get more points this week, so that going into the Barnsley game a draw would have been decent. Pressure heaped now

Yes and due to the last few games, he has brought it on himself, with mistakes of his own making, tactical errors, player selections etc, now he has to answer his critics, with 4 wins, and show that he can get what is needed out of those players, and get us promoted, but make no mistake as you say.. the pressure is on.

In some ways I agree, but you can’t blame him for the sitters that have been missed and for a stupid penalty given away. Sitters scored Tues or last night that’s 6 points.

All depends on perspective doesn't it, Could the team of been set out better last night, yes it could are their players on the bench who could of made a difference from the defensive point of view.. yes, could maguire of been on sooner yes, all of this is just that perspective, because had Grigg scored his chances we would be talking about a home win, however we are not.

Exactly Janey

What I cannot understand is that there are some fans of our 'age' that are knee jerking

Can maybe get it and possibly understand from the young 'uns

Still we all have different opinions which is fair enough I suppose
