Jack Grealish.

I assume all the apologists on here are BMW/Audi drivers or wannabes at least.

I'm not sure what he's done wrong here apart from a bit of shit driving? Are we not allowed to drive our cars now? Can someone explain what he has actually done wrong without resorting to hearsay and speculations? Like literally based on the facts that have been reported what is it that is so reprehensible?

By driving his car?

He crashed into parked cars.
He left the scene of an accident.
If he was drink/drug driving hopefully they can prove it.

He left his insurance / contact details. He did nothing wrong apart from hitting a parked car.

"apparently" being the operative word.

If they can't prove he was drunk, then he could get off scott free. He stayed after the accident and left details so can't even be done for failing to stop after an accident.

There are reports of an all night party, which if true is appalling. Not just by Grealish but by every other selfish arsehole that was there.

Your last paragraph is what I have been told.
Conflicting messages from your first point.
All will be revealed shortly I guess as the facts become common knowledge.

Agreed mind why didn't he stay

Well I suppose that could indicate that he believed remaining behind the wheel following an incident that could've drawn attention would be a very very bad idea. Probably keeping a low profile. I would imagine the police will be very keen to know why he deserted the vehicle.

He left the scene still, which technically is an offence.

The suspicion is going to be that he left to avoid the police and being tested.

It’ll be interesting to find out where he went when he left.
Home to sleep it off? A garage to recover his car?

I can see the issue with walking off. Doesn't look good. Looks like he's trying to buy himself time.

I wouldn't automatically believe house party rumours though. People are bound to say they've 'heard rumours' about it. Such an easy claim to make.

Does look dodgy mind means they can't prove its drink driving

Our lass hit a parked car she wasn’t pissed and left a note as didn’t know who’s it was what’s he supposed to do stand around all night until someone shows up

Leave in his car would have been the normal thing I guess.

Phone the police and report it as an accident
Not obliged to do so.

You only need to do that in the case of injured persons.

We don't know if it was roadworthy or even if it could be started.

There is a claim that some of his friends arrived in an Alpha Romeo and were unable to move the car.

Don’t really see the problem me - the streets will have been empty due to lockdown so probably the ideal time to get it out of his system.

Part of the reason for drink driving being like the forbidden fruit is the draconian laws around it - of course people are going to want to do something they’re told they’re not allowed.

Instead of an outright ban, you should only be allowed to drink drive on birthdays and bank holidays. That would really help take the edge off.
