Easier said than done. How many players exist who fit that bill?

Also do you have to be tall to be quick or good?

Ideally yes, however the two dont go hand in hand in general you tend to find attacking midfielders to be small and quick. Defensive midfielders tend to be larger and more physical.
think it proved pretty much the opposite. Showed what we're missing when Cattermole does play.
Cattermole's a terrible player - shouldn't be anywhere near the first team, barring major injuries.

Only seen the kid play twice but he's over 6"2 and pretty quick.
We lacked drive, momentum and positivity in midfield 1st half, Cattermole provides exactly that.
Anyone who thinks Colback is better than Cattermole in centre midfield is blind, stupid or both IMO.
What do you think that Cattermole can do which Vaughan can't ?
This.
To say Colback offered nothing and that the reason we went onto win, wasn't it him who called him a ginger Mag?
I'm with you mate.i hope cattermole doesn't play again he's a liability, and offers nothing to the team.

And offer nothing beyond the half way line??
I f***ing hope not.
Vaughan also lost the ball on a couple of occasions in the first half. He like Colback is 'crab' like playing the ball left and right as this is where the options were.
In terms of 'drive' I suppose I mean he drives the team to pressurise the ball high up the pitch. I wouldn't say he particularly drives us with his ability on the ball but to be fair to him he did create two chances last week (Sess and Bendtner I think).
I guess that just goes to show how little Blackburn wee offering in the second half.He was poor as usual. Gardner and Meyler should be ahead of him. Richardson did quite well when moved into the centre also
