Thoughts on him today?

Was it coincidence that when he went off we looked a far better side and went on to win the game? Thought he started the game woefully but got better and was tenacious and made some important tackles. Overall though, not good enough imo.

Erm, aye, what he said.

Cattermole should replace him next week.

He hasn't been very good of late and we certainly can't drop Vaughan after today's performance.

And offer nothing beyond the half way line??

I f***ing hope not.

He's not the finished article, but do we have any other central mids as good as him and Vaughan at keeping the ball within the team? Both neat and tidy players who can keep the ball rather well. That said I'd like to see a bit more creativity from him, but I see him as a decent lil player who will only get better. Good enough atm? Well, hard to say.

Hes not good enough. Passes the ball in a neat/tidy fashion sideways or backwards but offers nothing else. No coincidence that we go and win the game after he gets the hook either. Cattermole and Vaughan next week

Thought he had a very similar game to Vaughan with the exception of the goal. If Vaughan hadnt have scored there would have been very little to distinguish the two. Dont think we particularly improved as a consequence of him going off rather that the addition of McClean on the left of midfield helped a lot. Thought hw was better than Larsson and that Richardson's performance dropped (thought he was good today by the way) as soon as he went in to central midfield as such didn't much more to what Colback had offered.

Good players produce moments in matches like Vaughan did today. Colback will never do anything like that in a game as long as I have two knackers tbh

Well said. Mclean helped a lot with width. How people are still picking Cattermole and Gardner in their Spurs team is beyond me... Would love to see Meyler back soon though...

I'd have a fully fit Meyler ahead of Cattermole but he probably isn't ready for a start yet.

Much more than cattermole.

At the end of the day Vaughan is playing the Cattermole role and better at it.

Our faults are down the wing with the lack of movement. Bardsley is a waste of space down the left, O'shea is a centre back and RICO would be better used at left back until a proper left back is brought in.

But you're wrong about almost everything so i'm pleased you say that.

I'd rather have him in than Cattermole and Gardner.

Vaughan can do everything Colback does (apart from the tackling perhaps) but his range of passing is far, far better. He was spraying the ball about all over the place and dictated the game in midfield. Colback was just sort of there.

neat and tidy, but offers us very little, hardly makes a forward pass and today he gave away a number of free kicks gardner should replace next week
