When everyone stays fit and the manager gets to play more or leas the same team every week then judge them after 15-20 games. Same with any player/team. Things take time.

Did reasonably well against Man Utd I thought, but I have to say, in the other 3 he's been a non-entity.
Of course I'm not writing him off or anything like it, just highlighting that he looks a mile off the pace at the moment, and it may be a while to get him turning in his best performances. Yesterday was a little worrying though, he looked atrociously unfit and cumbersome.

If others can contribute more, drop him. This is the premiership, not a f***ing charity!

Poet said that about scocco
Lunacy! He is contributing man! he's scored, made some decent passes and played well defensively. The scocco comparison is laughable too. What more do you want from him?

Like majority of other fans, I was over the moon when we signed this lad, I could never have envisaged just how poor he has been.

Yet again, the midfield and Rodwell in particular, completely overran. Early days but he looks slow and just completely overwhelmed. He needs to up his game and fast or we are going to have to drop him to the bench, not impressed at all.

If Craig Gardner had produced performances like this in first four games he would be getting crucified.
Mr jardine (that well- known bellend) liked this post. End of argument.

IMO you can't even judge the team until 10 games in (when I believe the league starts to take a shape) so to write a single player off after 4 games is ridiculous.

He will get stronger and sharper with every game he plays.

I thought he did well first half and just looked absolutely knackered second. Surprised Larsson went off first before him.

He just needs time to settle in. He's a top quality footballer and you'll be eating your words later in the season.

Also, unlike Mr Gardner, I've yet to see him give away countless needless penalties so far through complete lack of disipline. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Cost us the 2nd goal on Saturday, no idea what he was doing with that chest down.

Having said that it is ridiculous to judege him on 4 games, 2 of which he was only able to last 60 minutes or so. Spurs battered us on Saturday in midfield but I would hardly blames Rodwell for that, they were just better than us.
