Rosedene heading same way as Barnes ... Barnes would make killing if they turned it back into a proper pub , was always the busiest of the two , pre carvery days

I reckon it still makes a killing as a carvery. Its a big space to fill for a proper pub these days.

Hadn't been in the Barnes for yonks but went in recently. Can't believe how shite it is. Absolutely nowt about it, and the drink selection is pathetic. Fortunately it had Guinness or I'd have been straight back out without even pushing one down.

The Ivy is a decent little boozer, but it's a bit of a soul sucker in the summer months as it's so dark and dingy inside. It also takes the piss with its prices and relies on the bottomless pockets of the beer hipster crowd. I've been in three times in the last month and it's been absolutely dead every time.
