Its the coldest place in the Northeast, its warmer out at sea ffs

I it's a bit nippy round there. A couple of winters ago I had to do a land survey around the old colliery site just up from Dalton Park. It took over a week and I can honestly say I've never been so cold in my life.

Windy shithole full of tat. Don't mind the mishapes in Thorntons though.

It's just a long tunnel of wind and nowt else.

Bloody freezing...I'm surprised it hasn't shut down before now. I've only been about 4 times and everytime I've been it's been practically deserted.

All of Murton is brass!

Was up me mates, right next to Dalton Park last week and I was frozzen.

Was good to get back to the warm and pleasent climate in Houghton.

Was that for the road and roundabout that literally goes nowhere?

There was a crash on the slip round going up to that roundabout, the car was trying to go down the ramp the wrong way, saw it on saturday, guy was in the right hand lane to turn right, got hit heed on

Literally nowhere. I've linked it on Google Maps for you here.

A friend lost a number of acres of land for that road. Good to see it's going to good use.

The whole of the north east is like a fridge, even when the temps are high
the wind makes it feel like the bastard Arctic..
