BBC 'It was a bad afternoon' - Le Bris

Same old boring dross from him .
Your a big part of the problem with the same tactics and subs every single game.
Said it for weeks he's not the man for the job .
His tactics have been sussed now and we are so easy to play against.
Time to show us you've got a plan b or get out the door
He’s lost

If only he didn’t pick the same 10 players every game…
Mepham, Mundle and Mayenda started today. Took the place of Ballard, Le Fee (both injured) and Isidor. It would be easier to rotate the squad if we were healthy, but if we had sat Bellingham/Neil/Roberts today for Watson/Browne/Aleksic and lost people would still be complaining. RLB said at the outset of the season that it was going to be a long road for a young team and there would be lots of ups and downs. We're in one of the "downs" right now and just need to work through it.

Despite the result, over last four matches we are in 8th in the form table. Tied with SU and ahead of Leeds. All teams go through rough patches, not just us. Still, 7pts from four games is 80pt form. It's not like we've completely cratered 🤣

Haven’t watched it but bet he talked about learning from it (which he says after every defeat, we’re getting worse and he doesn’t learn)

Will be sacked in October when we’re mid table.
You’d love that wouldn’t you. I think you need to go and support another club tbh. You clearly don’t want us or him to do well, you immediately jump to negatives. If it does happen you’ll play the victim and say you were pelted for it. You’re basically manifesting at this stage. All for what? To say “I was right on the SMB” Tbh, I feel a bit sorry for you as it seems your entire purpose.

As you love bleating on about it. We had a very similar dip in 21/22 under Alex Neil and still won the play offs. Idk why you want to write it all off right now.

We were so bad it was sad. Coventry had the easiest game they've had recently. I watched them against Oxford and Oxford offered a lot more than we did. The second half was a disgrace and that's on the manager coz we had no discernible game plan. Can't see a way out I'm afraid. Cirkin will be season over, no left back. O'Nien, who was f***ing awful by the way, will have to play there. Cancel yer hotels for Wembley because this is a team going nowhere.

The current tactic of launching over their defence and hoping we'll get on the end of it is dreadful.
We start the same way every time. Luke passes it to the left or long. The ball needs to go into the midfield for our players on the half turn.
We've stopped running off the ball, we've stopped closing down.
These are all things that have happened since we've decided to be "cleverer" and not waste energy.
This team needs to high press, it needs to constantly be snapping at peoples heels, it needs to play at a high intensity.
The defence needs to push up about 20 yards and grow some balls.
You cant build your team around a solid defence and quick counter attack if you don't have a solid defence. 3 of our back 4 are pretty attacking defenders. So let's play attacking, lets stop the easy passes, let them lump it long.
Currently Jobe and Rigg are in no mans land. The whole team is far to far apart and is built around the winger doing everything or lumping it through to the strikers.
We play with 2 8's when was the last time they passed the ball to our striker.
The intensity has to be increased across the board, and sitting back doesn't help us in any way.
Spot on...

Le Bris was a strange appointment. His cv didn’t suggest success. I said at the time of his appointment it didn’t inspire.
It still doesn’t, he doesn’t. I bet no one else was after him.
Why was he appointed ?
IMO because he was a bloke who wouldn’t cause problems and was prepared to do as he was told. Grateful to get the job he is doing just that.
Lampard has the cheats inspired and up for it, let’s hope our mundane, mostly boring Frenchman can do the same for us.
I doubt it.
Not a chance RLB has it in him to inspire the players to come through this. Not unless someone spikes his tea with acid or something

Why the last 4? Because it cuts off a defeat?

The most used form guide is 6 games. Which we have lost 3 of our last 6.
4 matches is a very selective sample considering we lost the 5th and 6th before that
We are 15th in the standard last 6 form table.

I’m not for binning him off but he’s a one trick pony, like Mowbray before him.

He scared shitless of dropping his faves, Robert’s, Jobe, Neil, been found out as a bang average manager with no plan B.
He does himself no favours Flogging the same players week in and week out when some are clearly out of form and need a rest. That said is he being told he has to pick certain players?

His lack of using the squad and substitutions is just baffling and he doesn’t seem to learn which is the worry. English football is much more physical than french football and players need the odd breather and recovery time from niggling injuries.

We had a good chance of promotion but he way we are going we are going to mess it up. Do the club really want promotion is another question. If they do they need to sit down and sort these issues out so we are 100% set up for the play offs.
