BBC 'It was a bad afternoon' - Le Bris

Got a lot of time for Mowbray but we weren't finishing anywhere near the play-offs if we'd kept him. Was obvious from the performance in his last home game against Huddersfield that he'd reached the end of the road here.
Really? Weren’t we only a few points outside the playoffs when he got the boot?.( just checked we were three points outside the playoffs when he was sacked)

Reggie’s only into his third season as a head coach and one of those ended in relegation. He was said to be stubborn etc by fans of his former club and totally lost his way there. Was that one season when he did well a fluke?. That’s what’s worrying me ATM.

We don't seem to have a discernable pattern of play. I just think we aren't as good as early season suggested.
Im not so sure. I think early doors we looked fantastic but then went on I think a 5 game run where we dropped points in games we drew that we were in full control of. Then it has been hit and miss since really.

Do you think we are as good as early season suggested? Five points clear and now 11 points adrift of top and 9 points adrift of second. I'm pleased with our position but not confident of our play-off chances

He's not kidding. It's the supporters who went to the game that I feel sorry for they must be sick as a chip travelling back after that performance
👋👋👋
Not saying it would be the right thing to do, but I was hoping to see him be a bit more critical of the players tbh. Not throwing individuals under the bus or owt, not completely destroying morale, but letting them know that they aren't meeting the standards required as a group and haven't been for several weeks. We lack that leader who will tell them some home truths. Our experienced players are pretty much Onien who isn't that type, Mepham who is only on loan (and doesn't exactly seem the type either tbh). Don't see it coming from Roberts, Patterson or Neil either. Browne has been a captain before but is a bit part player so probably not the best one for the job. If no one in the team is doing that, the coach has to. He also needs to make changes and try something different mind, no reason why we should be utterly passive against every single team we come up against
Bang on. I was saying during the game...not one of our players 'dig' each other out if they make ahowler or not doing their jobs...too nice we are, all over, on and off the pitch.

He won’t be here much longer the writing is on the wall already

If we don’t go up I’ll give him a couple of month if next season before they pull the trigger

His football is absolutely abysmal to watch and the fans would soon lose patience if we started a season like we’ve been playing the last four month

I’m not for binning him off but he’s a one trick pony, like Mowbray before him.

He scared shitless of dropping his faves, Robert’s, Jobe, Neil, been found out as a bang average manager with no plan B.
At least mowbrays have me trick had us playing good football 😂😂😂
It was actually completely different to his normal interview

1) He looked shaken
2) He admitted they are exhausted.
3) He said autos has gone and it's now about playoffs.
They are exhausted but he keeps throwing them back out there game after game. That’s on him. Nobody else

Are they his favourites or Speakman and KLD ‘s ??

Well, we all know the rumours but if a manager/head coach isn’t picking them team then he’s not fit for purpose and is weak.
Have some self respect and tell the world then quit.

Tbf, handbrake Reggie had us playing decent football for the first 10/15 games

We had a really good September but there had been a clear downturn in performances in the couple of months before he was sacked and think we were heading for a mid-table finish had he stayed.

Part of the problem? What problem? Has our fanbase went completely nuts? We've a small squad and done incredibly well this season. Instead of pissing and moaning that we could of and should of been in a certain place we need to get behind the lads, build some momentum and look forward to the play offs. I'm disappointed with aspects of the season and we've thrown a lot of points away at times, but I'm abosolutely buzzing with the play offs after last season.

He always had blips but generally finishes strong look at his finish here when we got into the playoffs. I really don’t think he was sacked for footballing reasons as we clearly had no one lined up as we self sabotaged that whole season after sacking him. That’s why i don’t think it’s correct when a few say we are overachieving. I think this squad should be getting in the playoffs and I honestly think we’d have been in with a shout last season had we not abandoned the season in December.

That’s all on the coach and players not sure how fans can build the teams momentum on the pitch mind. Always find those sayings a bit silly.

We were three points off the playoffs when we sacked Mowbray and we made the playoffs the season before this squad was always capable and should’ve been aiming for the playoffs.

Agree about the reasons behind his sacking. Think it was obvious in pre-season that his relationship with Dreyfus/Speakman had completely broken down as a result of our interest in Farioli being leaked.

Mowbray barely had a 1st 11 to pick. This fella has a squad and refuses to use it. I simply dont think we are as bad as so many performances suggest. I think the players are disengaged aswell
