I hope what I am about to write is not what you meant. Rest in peace Andrew. But I hope none of the victims' families ever rest in seeking justice. 96, now 97 human beings unlawfully killed, and still no-one is to blame? And (maybe not a PF topic, but related) Grenfell Tower inquiry going much the same way. So much more I feel like saying about this, but the rage I feel inside will make it come out wrong.Just terribly sad. RIP Andrew and I hope this thread doesn’t go downhill as many Hillsborough ones do
Remember reading about this. You are right, but for the official numbers it has to be recorded as an unlawful killing by a coroner's court.I always thought it was 97 anyway after learning about this some time back. What a truly horrid thing to go through. RIP Andrew

Yeah was more of just a mental note in my head mateRemember reading about this. You are right, but for the official numbers it has to be recorded as an unlawful killing by a coroner's court.
Exactly, it was inevitable, the way football fans were regarded and the state grounds were in. Us at Bootham Crescent the year prior could have turned out very badly. What a shame that is.
What a lot of football fans don't realise when they get a bit gobby about Hillsborough is that it could've been any set of fans with a large following in any ground. It just happened to be that ground and that club.
