Israel Record Highest Cases Yet

Very bizarre. The furthest into this of any country, completed the 2nd vaccines first and already rolled out 3rd boosters.

Just recorded their highest cases ever and hospitalisations and deaths increasing rapidly.

Not sure what to make of this apart from vaccine effectiveness waning again but can’t see what will be different here. Whilst a smaller country essentially they are a Western nation and live a similar way of life. Got to hope it’s an anomaly of some kind

50 per cent are kids - they'll be fine and have natural immunity which is better than jabbed.

But comical Ali ( I mean Brian ) says herd and vaccines.

Go figure.

Interesting. Proves again that vaccines work but possibly what we have been suggesting for a while which is that those first double jabbed may have lower protection now. Israel have been reporting for a while effectiveness reduces over time and that supports it.

Over 5x more cases in double then triple jabbed

Dunno how much a difference it makes but israel did their 2nd jabs after about 3 weeks. Its since been suggested that 8 weeks offers maximum protection, so maybe we'll be in a better position than israel due to us doing longer gaps between doses.

It seems clear as day that the vaccine stops you from getting seriously ill, but does absolutely nothing to reduce transmission.
There is a lot of evidence that it reduces transmission significantly around 50-60% from the last stuff I read so unless you have some research that no-one has seen its not 'clear as day'

There seems to be loads of people around that cant comprehend that a reduction in transmission doesnt mean zero cases if you are vaccinated so therefore conclude the vaccine doesnt work. This is one of the things anti-vax use to prop up their opinions on the vaccine and its nonsense

I agree.

Similarly, there also seems to be a fair few people who can't comprehend that people who are double-vaccinated can still get ill enough from Covid to become seriously ill, or even die. Especially those with other severe underlying issues or those who are simply old and frail.

Didnt Israel opt for a very short time periord between vaccines? I seem to recall reading that the better results came from a longer gap between the two.

They did the three weeks as per the original study - it looks like 8 weeks is better for immune repsonse

They also had a very fast rollout but then got stuck around 60% so there is a lot of people who didnt get vaccinated and there is a graph above showing that those dying are way more likely to not be vaccinated

They didn’t complete first jabs let alone second. There are loads of countries with higher jab rates now, the UK being one of them.

Granted they did get a load done very quickly but they’ve stagnated for ages now.
