Is this the worst you've ever felt about the club?

There was a game during McMenemys second season over the Xmas holidays at Roker against Grimsby,me and the lads were in the Roker end and it was utter shite,it was freezing and just after half time it started raining,me and the lads looked at each other and fkd off straight to the Harbour View, anyone who thinks it's bad now should try watching crap like that was,i'd say that's the lowest i've been supporting the lads,by the way we were in the Harbour till the death anarl, mortal.

Worst for me was 2003, the first relegation so soon after we looked like a genuine top half team was bad. The fact it was a record low points tally was embarrassing and the Championship games that followed were boring. Half empty SOL with a massive dip in the quality of player.

Don't know if it's down to having less free time on weekends to get down to the matches but I've felt less enthused with not just Everton but football in general this season. Going out the League Cup knocked a lot of good feeling out as its only that and the FA Cup that I have any hope of seeing us do well in.

Exactly the attitude a safc fan should have ie cups mean everything, after a decade in the prem. Sadly though were too busy trying to get more points than wba, watford, palace, swansea n bournemouth that cups are the least of our worries.

It's the least interested I've felt

This for me sadly. Like when Benteke scored that last minute winner against us I felt no anger, sadness or surprise. I just felt like I'd expected it and the inevitable had just happened.

The 19 point and 15 point seasons really hurt. Probably the 19 point season a lot more as everyone gave up after Xmas in the 15 point season. This season is just groundhog day and I'm struggling to give a fuck.

I referred to them earlier in the thread. Do you honestly think that will be replicated? I'll rephrase that, do you honestly think we'll replicate Leicester's success? Certainly not with Short at the help. It's more than investment. They are very well managed.

Their owners are actually interested.

Midtable would be enough for me. BSA wouldve easily obtained if backed to a reasonable degree. As long as DM keeps us up we will all be happyish but ES and his supporters need to accept that its not all the past n present managers fault. BSA was already whinging about transfers before the DT stuff came out.

This last few months have been like a big kick in the nuts. Just when I thought we had a decent manager and building a solid squad, along comes the FA to fuck us over.
What went on after in the transfer market has been laughable, and left me totally deflated, I couldn't give a fuck at the moment.

But it has always been worse at SAFC

Both. We were winning in both games and iirc both went from 2-1 to 2-3. We might have even missed a pen v Barnsley at 2-1..?

After Gillingham was worse for me though. 2 relegations in 3 seasons we could have been doomed but the appointment of Denis Smith was probably Murray's best decision as a chairman.

Agree, that was the lowest for me

Not the worst, but possibly the angriest. At the end of last season we had a team who played and battled for each other, and actually worked as a team.
Yet again though, this wasn't built on, and we are now back to square one, a side bereft of ideas, confidence, and stuck with a clueless owner and a properly miserable manager who may or not stumble across a way of turning our season around.
