Ahhh! The smell of testosterone & cheap after shave. We can't all be men's men, Keith. :-DI'm genuinely embarrassed for the both of you. A pair of soft cocked surrender monkeys who are negative in the extreme![]()

I have never at any time suggested that MON is anything other than an excellent manager. He is far & away the best manager we could ever have hoped to hire. However, whether Jesus Christ Himself could transform the mess MON has inherited from SB, is a matter of some debate. We are a bit shite, like. That's why we're struggling to win footie games. It's what happens when you sell (or loan out) your star strikers & you fail to adequately replace them.Martin O'Neill is as good as a cast iron bet in football for improvement, just look at his CV at his previous 3 clubs (he also did very well at Wycombe and during his short time at Norwich).
As a side we lack fitness, confidence, balance and a proven goalscorer but we still have about 8 proven premier league players (i.e. played and held there own for more than a season in the top flight) and a few on the cusp of that.
Gordon
O'Shea (needs to get his finger out!)
Turner
Brown
Richardson
Cattermole
Gardner
Larsson
Sessegnon
Bendtner
Good training, organisation and a couple of decent signings should see us comfortably mid-table.
I can't agree with anyone who thinks we're just 'shite'. We're not. We're a bit of an under achieving mess but now we have just the man to sort us out!
Oh and I don't do cheap, I reek of quality me![]()
The only thing that I'm wondering, is whether Bruce's mess will still be in the Premiership next season. But yet again stubbs you post a load of negative shit and wonder why you get dogs abuse. I actually agree with you that it could get worse but FFS man, if you can't be up-beat about being a Sunlun fan today then you never will be.
"Is this job beyond MON?" - before his 1st match?![]()
The objective is Premiership survival. I hope MON can turn it round but I am mindful of the Mackemenemy experience & unrealistic expectations. Not to mention the curse of safc. It's going to be a long hard Winter.
Did you think Laurie Mac was going to be a success?
I'm not criticising him, man! We have a poor, poor set of players, we've got rid of our strikers and we haven't replaced them, we're bereft in m/f and inept at the back. This team lack any heart. I'm saying that good as MON's record suggests (like Laurie Mac) he has his work cut out with that shambles!!!
Absolutely! MON is far & away the best man for 'Mission Impossible'.your mot wrong but if its beyond o'neill it is beyond allmost all prem managers
We're one point & one place short of the drop zone in my copy of 'The Telegraph'.I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat concerned about the difference between MON now and MON of yore.
How is our goal difference in the top 7 then?
