Is this job beyond MON?

The objective is Premiership survival. I hope MON can turn it round but I am mindful of the Mackemenemy experience & unrealistic expectations. Not to mention the curse of safc. It's going to be a long hard Winter.

The title is bollix and "the curse" is laughable but I agree with the rest.

It might get worse before it gets better.

If MON doesn't win his opening game on Sunda, we are right in the shit.

We can't score goals. It's probably got something to do with not having any strikers. We seem to have either sold them, or (bizarrely) lent them out. Just having a wild stab in the dark but I may be onto something.

But we do have able Strikers in Connor(Proven) and Noble, it is just Bruce and his cronies do not believe in giving them a chance.

How many games did it take to give Connor a chance? He would of relished playing the full 90 against Norwich.

We'll stop up, how high we finish depends on who we bring in, in january.

Will be too late then when we are points adrift, as knowone will want to come.

Down we go im afraid !

There was a stat on tv which may have been bollocks or selective but MON has left EVERY job he's ever had as a manager with the club in a better position than when he joined.

None of them by just a couple of positions either.

As MON is starting his job we are 17th, so any improvement at all is at least going to establish us in the premiership rather than looking over our shoulders.

To be honest though I didn't expect us to be worrying about the relegation places this season - shows how much I know. (I'm useless at CM which seems to be accepted as a meter of how much people know about football on here)

He cant have taken celtic up more than one place like

Is there really any point in this? Do you get a buzz out of stupid windups?

Im not on a wind-up, blackburn is now a must win game, failure to do so is not an option as defeats to spurs then qpr and anything less than a win against everton will see us bottom, then its man city at home....

When was the last time we won 2 games in a row ? ....this is what we will have to do when the gap gets bigger !

Please feel free to bookmark my posts, but i hate been right about thius situation and do not take in satisfaction in any of my posts...

The one thing i will be doing is supporting o'neill, as he is the perfect man to bring us back up and finally awake the sleeping giant !

Jesus christ, what a pissy pants.

Just for the record.

MON is an excellent manager but Jesus Christ, Buddha & SAF would be struggling with the shite he has inherited.

The club is cursed like; we have never recovered from the illegal payments scandal in the 50's.

If you sell (or loan out) your best strikers & you fail to adequately replace them, you may suffer the consequences.

In what way do we suffer from that now?

The last bit cost bruce his job, and if you read my posts back in august/september, i predicted all this...

Im afraid the january window will be too late for us, as we will be already cut adrift.

can see where you and HM are coming from but as stated we have the ideal man at the helm , as a lot of people said SB should have been sacked long before he was especially prior to the fulham game . Now the Blackburn game has become a must win game anyone who doesnt think this needs to give their head a shake . MON will have to hit the ground running as there are so many tough games after this one , the players attitude and confidence needs addressing immediately and MON is perfect for that , thing i worry about is the needless mistakes many of the supposed experienced players are making and this is out of his hands . Going to be one hard time from now until the end of the season , i have the faith in the new boss lets hope it works out in our favour . SB has left one f***ing mangled mess the twat .
