Is this job beyond MON?

Striker
The objective is Premiership survival. I hope MON can turn it round but I am mindful of the Mackemenemy experience & unrealistic expectations. Not to mention the curse of safc. It's going to be a long hard Winter.

WTF? We've outplayed, at least at times, every team we've played this season. There's definitely something wrong (tactics, lack of a goalscorer perhaps) but if he can't turn it around then it's his own shortcomings, nothing else.

The objective is Premiership survival. The players at his disposal are poor. We haven't got any strikers, we haven't got any heart & to a man we expect to lose a game, not ot win it. Hoy us the noose?

If we think it's bad here can you imagine how Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn fans are feeling. At least we've acquired a top-manager with money to spend and look like a team only really lacking someone to properly steer the ship.

People on here are delirious but I'd expect nothing else from OP.

You were also convinced that Ellis wouldn't sack Bruce under cost saving measures ... :)

Deliriously unhappy? Sums me up perfectly. Pass the happy-thermometer.

VERY very well said mate, especially in the 1st half of basically every game we have played this season.

Bruce and Blacks Half time team talk must resemble something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sRJ2Cm32kM

Perhaps you're wrong.

Cannot compare the two for me like.

We can't score goals. It's probably got something to do with not having any strikers. We seem to have either sold them, or (bizarrely) lent them out. Just having a wild stab in the dark but I may be onto something.

Welcome back. It's been a while.

Last time we heard from you, Bruce was going nowhere...

I think it's a lot more difficult that some people think. He's a better manager than Bruce but ultimately he is going to have to bring in some better players. We're desperate for a striker, our midfield is weak as piss and our defence needs a massive kick up the arse.

Ah the ever positivity strikes again!

The goal for MON is to make us an established Premier League club and not have us worry about relegation like this season - maybe a good cup run or two in future or perhaps win one like he did with Leicester.

As for this season, staying up is the ultimate goal.
