Is the end near for watching the games on dodgy channels?

Finding a stream that compatible with iPad is beyond me, but tbf I'd rather pay less than a pint of Stella and watch it in peace. I accept that's down to mainly laziness on my part. Either that or, follow it on PF and listen to Jeff. :)

Right download

Sports tv HD from AppStore

They've got a section for

Bt Sky Bein

On iPad

The free streams weren't working well at all for me yesterday mind. I just couldn't connect. Maybe one attempt in 10 actually got it up on the screen using NJM Sports.

Streaming will only grow, if anything it's time for Sky and the Premier League to embrace it and do deals with clubs that allow exiles and armchair fans to buy a "season ticket" to watch all the clubs games, something like £15 a game, pricey but it's still cheaper than a match day ticket and travel up for me, which'll come in at around £200.

sky won't want to do that, sky want to bundle all there crap along with footy & charge a fortune.

only way to stop streams is to stop showing footy  if you can view it, someone will stream it to make a few £

sky have a department watching web for piracy sky cards etc . and also stream's, hank is wanted dead or live by em :p

Adding more football in a stripped down package club by club can only stand to be a good thing for them, people will still buy the sky packages and watch the other shite if they want it.

And that whole argument about stopping streaming falls down, they need to embrace it and allow us more American-ised packages like the NFL ones.

Aye he's like our very own Julian Assange!

I can only think the Premier League are scared that crowds would dwindle if they offered PPV on a club by club basis and the 'product' is devalued by rows of empty seats.

Of course they could counteract this by making tickets £5 or something but then the crowd might be made up of those unruly types that spoiled Sky's Transfer Deadline Day broadcasts by waving dildos around, and they couldn't be having that.

Clubs may loose a couple hundred fans, but it's highly unlikely that most fans would stop going. Season ticket holders would still go.

Fine for me yesterday...I do wonder, as more and more people get Kodi if there'll be a tipping point where the ISP providers seriously look at blocking it - Sky and BT must be concerned, then again they're both in rude financial health so maybe they'll remain passive.

Depending on the agility of the software and servers, that could be quite difficult.

Bear in mind using Kodi doesn't necessarily mean I'm viewing 'dodgy' content so in order to know this, they'd have to inspect the packets and that is currently not allowed.

But Theresa May is well keen in this kind of snooping so that might change. Thanks to simple people who say shit like "I'm not a terrorist/pedo/criminal I've got nothing to hide".

Could not find our game anywhere. Last season I paid 16.99 to watch every Premier game live. Up to 8 3pm kick offs was shown on a Saturday. That has been knocked to one game shown at 3pm. I'm sure it's the same in other countries. Heard a few saying that they couldn't find our match on in any pub in the town ?
Binning Go Sports when my renewal is due, there are loads doing it, they have to abide by a court ruling about european broadcasting on the English top flight league. The joke is they say they have to broadcast the live 3 oclock kick off commentary in Maltese as the ruling says it has to be in the official language and they had a whole heap of complaints about this, strangely enough they have gone quiet since I pointed out to them that English is an official language here.

I do think people should be careful how freely they share the SM link.

I've seen in the last month another site shut down that does something similar. SM is an industrial scale operation, and if certain parties become aware of it, it'll be gone. It and other sites are discussed far too openly on here and in the long run, it's likely to draw unwanted attention to the site owners and users...

Quickest way to get it stopped

watched it on Universal TV app

As long as they are on TV somewhere in the world they will be available in the Internet somewhere.

It'll be interesting to see how sky react if subscriptions fall drastically. And similarly when the new footy deal comes up and they offer no where near as much for it

Yep, one of things making me a bit hesitant getting the year pass, as it could well be dissolved at any time. I know it's been around for a good while but it's popularity has got a lot bigger (just going by this forum anyway)
