Is the end near for watching the games on dodgy channels?

I managed to get a decent stream on Sports Devil. Having said that, I hate watching us play away on TV, I was a nervous wreck by the end and I don't think I can put myself through that every other week..
where were you watching it on sports devil? It was a crap picture for me on dimsports , first row etc

Maybe that's the trouble. We were looking for free
There was a thread up yesterday for links to the match, sure someone posted a link to USA goals which is free - bit of a twat as you have to close down a load of pop-ups. Newsourcetv you can pay for monthly and is decent.

Streaming will only grow, if anything it's time for Sky and the Premier League to embrace it and do deals with clubs that allow exiles and armchair fans to buy a "season ticket" to watch all the clubs games, something like £15 a game, pricey but it's still cheaper than a match day ticket and travel up for me, which'll come in at around £200.

I dont understand and why the fa don't just release subscriptions to fans to watch each game in the tv.

So we'd just subscribe to all Sunderland games for x £ a season.

People would still go to the game if they wanted to.

Didnt see this as I posted mate!

I watched it also in HD with no problems. Every other premier league game was also listed.
I bet you weren't watching it via Kodi or Android though

The only way to stop it being shown @Its Him Again is to not have any live footy on TV. It's impossible to stop. Close them down and they spring up elsewhere. Trick is finding the most reliable and sticking with it

Dodgy subscriptions/ streams will always be around, even if the premier league pulled their fingers out and did ppv per match live they'd try and screw everyone so much a lot of people would still go for other services.
Look what sky charge for a few games a month, and that will give you an idea of where they'll want to take it. It'll be like the boxing where they'll want 15 quid a match, so loads will give that bollocks and source something else.

Could not find our game anywhere. Last season I paid 16.99 to watch every Premier game live. Up to 8 3pm kick offs was shown on a Saturday. That has been knocked to one game shown at 3pm. I'm sure it's the same in other countries. Heard a few saying that they couldn't find our match on in any pub in the town ?
A good trick if you are stuck marra, rather than searching for 'Sunderland vs X live stream', try to find out what channel is showing our match in various countries, and then search 'BeIN sports 5 live stream' or whatever it is. They get taken down less if they don't have the team names in their title.

I think 'liveonsat' is still running, and it gives you that kind of information

Finding a stream that compatible with iPad is beyond me, but tbf I'd rather pay less than a pint of Stella and watch it in peace. I accept that's down to mainly laziness on my part. Either that or, follow it on PF and listen to Jeff. :)

NBC sports was rubbish for me yesterday, was great all last season though, so may have just been a one off.

No worries, it shows there are more fans out there that want this sort of thing! I live too far away to get to many home games and miss a lot of away games due to other things like work and general life, so to have the ability to watch a game fully on my laptop or phone anywhere in the world would be perfect!

As long as the premier league do the overseas rights & the Internet is here

It will never die
