Is the end near for watching the games on dodgy channels?

Sky don't show 3pm games so don't even see why people are comparing the two.

Any game that is on sky or is early/late kick off is also available on the free add ons in kodi and in good quality. It's the 3pm games free streams struggle with (unless your playing the top 4) and that's what a paid sub sorts out.

People who pay for illegal streaming services also get Sky for free, which they are only too keen to brag about, so it is valid to compare the quality and reliability of the service.

I have Sky and you are right I have to rely on free streaming to get our 3pm games but I wouldn't pay for a subscription as it supports criminal activity.

Loads of streams, most sites with multiple options per game in case one drops. Quality far far better than it was 3 or 4 years ago when there was more buffering than match.

Look mate, if you don't know how DNS works versus VPN then I'm not going to bother explaining it to you. IF there was an issue on VPN only and not DNS then you would be correct, but there is stutter/stop regardless.

There are too many people using the same (stolen/borrowed) login(s) at the same time which is causing the problem.

If you want to believe otherwise, just do, don't try convincing me otherwise when you don't know how DNS works.

Explain to me why I can use the exact same valid (not used by anyone other than me) login in the USA and it's fine, then two seconds later connect using smart dns in the UK and it stutters?

Can you explain how I can remove the smart DNS settings in the UK and connect via a vpn to the same PC in the USA and watch without any issues whatsoever in the UK?

I think you seem to know how normal DNS works, but I think the whole smart dns thing is throwing you and you're maybe not considering that the smart dns server may be overloadeded/slow to respond to authentication requests thus causing constant drop outs.

All your life, wow, is IT the new pit?. ;)

Think about what you're saying. NBC, you know NBC, the huge US company NBC, can't cope with the bandwidth demands of their customers and a handful of overseas geeks on the internet for streaming football. None of their paying customers in the USA bother to complain though, they just get on with it.

The issue is with smartdns, I know this for a fact, I can connect using smartdns proxy here and it stutters. I can connect to a PC in the USA and connect to the exact same stream and it doesn't buffer once. Magic.
I noticed that happened sometimes, when I used to use them. The thieving bastards stole about 6 months worth of subs from me too.

NO it doesn't affect internet speed at all!

Streaming directly comes to your pc/devices from the remote website/channel servers (NBC). It's not coming from Smart DNS servers. So I am getting the best possible speed the Internet Service Provider (Virgin, 8o meg)

I'll leave it at that as you won't listen, too many simultaneous connects is the problem.

Ah, so you don't understand how smart dns works, thought so.

Free streams might help support criminal activity too. Best to stay away from anything not no Sky/BT if you're worried about legalities/criminal activity.

Could not find our game anywhere. Last season I paid 16.99 to watch every Premier game live. Up to 8 3pm kick offs was shown on a Saturday. That has been knocked to one game shown at 3pm. I'm sure it's the same in other countries. Heard a few saying that they couldn't find our match on in any pub in the town ?

You need wifi mate

What are people's opinions on the best free footy addons? I have a firestick and Zem tv/castaway are the only ones I rate to be honest.

The likes of NJM, phoenix, halow is constant buffering.

Any others worth a look?

Watching the free streams is no different. It's still illegal so you are supporting criminal activity by watching it.
