Unless we can find a way to make our planet perfectly secure from natural and unnatural disasters then make our sun keep working forever its pretty much the most critical thing to the medium term survival of the species.

I think sending people up in a very dangerous rocket, into a vacuum is a really good idea. However, we should have some input in selecting who goes into the rocket.

Yes it was developed by nasa so that Armstrong and aldrin were the first to fry an egg on the moon.

It isn't really aid. They are being bribed into not letting their desire for war with Pakistan get so out of hand that it goes nuclear. Pakistan are also being bribed for the same reason. That's all "foreign aid" really is, bribes to get people to behave in ways that would cost us a lot more if we went down the route of sanctions or armed conflict.
