Is Middlesbrough a derby game?

Not really. I mean Boro is closer to where I live than Newcastle (hell it's even closer than Sunderland). But I definitely don't have the same level of butterflies and nerves as I do when it's the mags.

If we were playing the mags tomorrow I’d be bad as a dog.
Not arsed about tomorrow, we could be playing Blackburn away for all I care, it’s just about 3 points to keep our momentum going.

Every time we play each other this question gets asked so it can’t be much of a derby can it?
There’s been more trouble than a ‘normal’ game over the years but that’s the same with all teams that are relatively close to us - Leeds, Hartlepool, Darlo even Carlisle.

I think it get asked more than every time we play each other, more like every week on here🤣😂😂

honestly I don't mind Middlesbrough at all, would root for them as a neutral and the night before "derby day" and I don't feel anything at all, if it was against the mags it'd be like Christmas Eve for a bairn. Still though, means more than most games

On this, just moved to Hetton and the amount of scruffy mags ***** in the Houghton/Hetton area is mental. Even the bloke in his 60s next door is a Saudi apologist.
Mate, I'm from Hetton.
People don't move TO Hetton marra, they move FROM Hetton🤣🤣🤣
