Is Leeds Utd a derby?

How can it be a derby when you are playing a team nearly 100 miles apart! A derby is what it is against your nearest & not so dearest bitter rivals! OP needs to look at a number of Ordnance Survey maps and take stock!

I look forward to this game more than any in this division for obvious reasons -for those around in 73 that’s why
Ps is the huge Union Jack in the east stand the one that was at Wembley 73 -I really want it to be ?
Had some “funny “away days at Leeds over the years when I used to travel
That little “ tunnel “ we used to walk through -we had some top top supporters that ensured our safety!
For me they are a proper club

Obviously not, none of their fans give a shit about us more than do any other team in the league and none of our fans under the age of 60 care either way about Leeds. Just grandads stuck in the past.

I’ve lived in Leeds since 1987. There’s a bit of an edge to the game due to ‘73 and being two big clubs that are relatively close. I’d say it’s a bigger game than Leeds v Boro for instance because they’d acknowledge we’re a bigger club than Boro. But it’s not a derby. I can say there’s some nervousness about Tuesday here. Especially about Clarke
