is daydreaming one of the greatest things ever?

I genuinely love a daydream. spend a fair chunk of each day smashing my way through one. One minute you are fighting off snakes in the amazon, the next you are scoring the winning goal in the cup final. there is nowhere a daydream can't take you. incredible stuff

is there much better than a daydream?

I was always getting told off for daydreaming at primary school. As I remember it this was because I didn't find the guff that the teacher was going on about was very interesting, but it's difficult to make that point effectively when you are only seven.

Very much so. It keeps me sane and keeps things in perspective. I know I have next to no chance of ever winning the lottery. However, those 5 minutes of daydreaming about whose lives I could change for the better by helping with their mortgage, and all the things I have wanted to do but can't because work gets in the way and takes up the time, are worth the price of the ticket.

Then I check the numbers and pop.... there goes the daydream balloon for another week.

I also daydream every night before I go to sleep. I think back to situations in my past and daydream about how I could have done differently and what the outcomes might be. I usually drift off to a deep sleep with amazing dreams. The challenge is to write them down as soon as I wake up so that I can use them as suggestions for plot lines in my book(s). I almost always forget dreams once I have woken up properly so I have a pen and pad next to my bed.

Yep. I often think that if you had superpowers, that you'd have to use them secretly, or at least have a secret identity.

Imagine if you had the healing touch, how rewarding that would be. But you couldn't go wandering around hospitals touching people. I think that would be frowned on.

Your identity and location would be worth a kings ransom to some evil entity (USA). They'd track you down, drawing an ever decreasing circle to your location based on the people and animals you'd helped. They'd find you eventually.

Imagine being in possession of foresight. Say just a second ahead of everything that happened, and you are SAFC's current keeper. No-one would ever score a penalty against you.

For your penalty saves alone, you'd be a world class keeper. Like maybe Patto in 2 years time.

Why do you think none of this is possible? Anything you can imagine can come true, it's all a matter of belief. You don't believe me? Read up on Leonardo Da Vinci...If you're still not convinced I have back up :D

ps. When did we sign an Irish goalkeeper?

More out than in as my Grandma used to say.

I daydream like it's a TV series, my current one started with a chance meeting with Kate Middleton, and with 2 episodes to go I'm locked up in The tower of London
