Ipswich town squad size

Totally changed side from Saturday as you'd expect.
The scattergun approach really is working - NOT.
Lincoln got draw v Rotherham tonight and are more than capable of doing them on Saturday. If they do, Cook must be looking over his shoulder.
Losing now
I felt embarrassed when we lost to Leicester under Dino Phil.
Ipswich are really struggling.
No wins in the league, knocked out by lower league Newport in LC, and now this.
Lincoln A and Sheff Wed H next two games, ouch.

We’ve had dozens of other clubs fans on here ower the years explaining how shite our new signing/manager is and that their clubs owners have mugged us etc. Unfortunately most of the time they were proven to be right. No one however wanted to believe them at the time. Myself included. It’s just human nature.
Will always be the safe as in general (cough) fans of most clubs want to be optimistic. I was made up when we signed flo, Wickham, Rodwell, Grigg etc etc. You want to believe and you will make excuses.
For once (and I will probably be proved wrong again knowing my luck) I really think we are onto something with our recruitment. Hopefully for us clubs like Ipswich etc who wee fancied take a few seasons to learn the hard way, like we did as I want out this place now

Holy it appears. He conceded the penalty for West Ham's winner.

Walton who they brought in on loan recently from Brighton is highly rated (although conceded 5 on his debut!), but with Hladky and Holy they seem to have a big problem with GK's.

Hladky ranks comfortably bottom of League One in all major GK stats (e.g. goals prevented) but I suspect it will be Walton all the way now and the other two won't be seen again.

That's the problem with a salesman like Ashton is everything looks good until you try to use the snake oil. Then when you do there are other reasons for the problems that cloud the picture - the first thing in most fans playbook is sack the manager.

Oxford tried telling us and we were apprehensive about listening to them when we were selling players for considerably more than we ever had before and signing players left right and center. When you're in the middle of it it all makes sense sell players for large amounts, buy more players that (he says) needs only a little development and have lots of competition for places and ready made replacements. This is all fine from the clubs perspective but misses out the human element of players actually wanting to play and what happens when they don't.

If Ipswich fans don't want to listen to us then fair enough IMO, you can't get someone to listen by shouting louder - they certainly know what our experience was. I wouldn't wish ill on them for being blinded by the bright lights of a dodgy salesman and if there was a way of separating there eventual pain from Ashtons then that would be preferable to me, it might take them 3 seasons to realise but they will eventually.

I think the reason we're all over explaining this stuff to Ipswich fans is because in the grand scheme of things we actually quite liked Ipswich before Ashton got there, they are a good traditional club that I can't remember us having any issues with.
Whilst I hear what you are saying about Ashton, there’s nothing any of us fans can do.

He’s here, we can either back him to deliver (and he’s at least said and done the right things, signed good players, etc so far) or hound him out before he’s done anything here.

We are cautious because of what your fans say about him but at the end of the day, there is nothing we can do.

As an aside, I quite like Bristol. I go to the Cheltenham Festival every year and tend to stay in a nice hotel in Bristol with it being cheaper than staying at Cheltenham. Was there about four years ago when it was -4 and it was a terrible 1-0 to yous in the snow. Nice enough stadium but pretty sure there was work going on to one of the side stands at the time if my memory serves me correctly.
